But still, even powered by electricity, gatling gun remains mostly stationary weapon. Our model shifts this idea a little bit further by fictional construction of electricaly powered gatling gun as infantry type minigun design. Since gatling gun is widely used in many western movies, stories and even computer games, this is the variant of gatling you can wield while runnig around and gunning your enemies. The second variant is also inspired by steampunk, as it reperesents fictional automatic sentry turret equipped with primitive AI control unit and camera. You will find the items in Character, Hand. Pose and Props folders named OW Gatling Gun. Geometries, Textures and Reflection Maps are stored in respective folders. Model installs into same directory as oroginal product, you ma be aksed to owerwrite some files. Do so or skip, files are the same. For use of included multifigured presets, original objs and textures are needed, in current product are included only cr2s. -------------------------------------- Usage Tips or Limitations: There two new multifigured presets for easy use. Gatling Minigun is intended for use with M4 or V4 poses and Sentry Turret is used with Chair Stand to form automatic gun turret. Instead of presets you can also use new component figures and original product parts. Just load Gatling Gun figure and Electric Motor. Electric Motor need be parented to Gatling Gun framework. In Gatling Gun hide hand crank parts (crank, crank lock). Now you can use electricaly rigged gatling either for M4 and V4 minigun or for sentry turret. In either way, select Gatling Gun figure (this is important) and apply one of poses that moves gatling to desired postion (Gatling for M4, Gatling for V4 or Gatling for Chairs Stand). Now it is the time to parent Gatling gun figure either to V4īs or M4īs left hand (for minigun use), or to Chair Standīs Mount for Sentry Turret use. If you are preparing mingun position, select human figure (M4 or V4), this is also important, and apply M4 or V4 minigun pose. Since Gatling gun is parented to left hand of human figure, you can reposition it as needed and then adjust roght hand to hold the firing handle. If needed, you can apply hand poses to adjust position of fingers and hand. You can change color of electric motor wooden handles by orginal product mat poses, while color of motor can be changed with new mat poses. Model is completely UV mapped. For certain parts of models are provided texture templates, other material zones are textured by procedural materials or by tiled textures and templates are not applicable for them. Tiled textures and procedural materials may need adjustments in DAZ studio, Carrara or other 3d applications. All poser props have extracted geometry to obj. mesh files which you can use for importing to other modeling or rendering application.
