Design Resource: WINTER Overlays & Layer Styles Pack Copyright ©2013 Roberta Dugan Created by: fractalartist01/Roberta B. Dugan --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This designer resource pack was created to save you both time and extra work. You will receive 30 seamless transparent WINTER overlays that can be used hundreds of different ways! The overlays are .png files that can be used in any application. They are totally seamless and have no background or shadows. Created at 300dpi, they translate perfectly for either the web or print design. They can be used as pattern fills; over backgrounds while changing your blend modes; you can style them with layer styles; use other plug-in filters on them; emboss or engrave them or even fill them with solid colors or patterns. Create beautiful wallpapers, backgrounds, scrapbooking papers, fill picture frames, clothing, household items, etc. Use them over and over again, for many years to come! They will always come in handy-whenever you desire to create images/backgrounds/papers with a WINTER or cold weather theme. Because they are seamless and 600x600 pixels, you can fill any size image (divisible by 600) by using your pattern fill tool or paint bucket and tapping the overlay inside with one click! Use your ruler and tap a 1200 pixels transparency at 600 pixels height x 600 pixels width and it will still be seamless. Style any way you like by adding gems, jewels or pearls to make make beautiful jeweled texture sets! As you will see on the product example pages, they make great fills for SNOWGLOBES! Also included are 10 icy metallic WINTER layer styles for Photoshop 7 & Above. There are both textured and smooth metallic styles-done in pale blues and silvers-which look great when used on the overlays. But don't stop there! They also make your text, elements, buttons, gems, frames banners, etc. pop right off the page for a stand-out pastel metallic/textured shiny WINTER or Snowy look. Check out the product preview pages for examples! There are examples pictured. The styles were applied to the overlays and a background addrd before filling the snowglobes with them. Included in your purchase: *30 original and SEAMLESS transparent overlay patterns/tiles. 600x600 pixels each; 300dpi; png file format. *10 textured and smooth Metallic wintry-colored layer styles created and tested for Photoshop 7 & above to style your overlays and/or any other matching images/text/frames you might create. Or you can access this command from the Layers palette by right-clicking on the small layer effects symbol (looks like an f) on your layer, then choosing the Scale Effects command. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2) When you choose Scale Effects, the dialog box "Scale Layer Effects" will appear. You can reduce the scale down as low as 1% to make the effects smaller, or increase the scale up to 1000% to make the effects larger. {Somewhere in between those settings usually looks best, however} This re-scales every effect used in the Layer Style at once...OR you can just remove/add a shadow, add a stroke or inner bevel, change the pattern scale size, etc. *Checking the "Preview" box will allow you to see as you're adjusting.* --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3) So the next time you download some layer styles and find they don't look quite the same on your own images as they did in the examples, try scaling the effects and see if it makes a difference. _________________________________ Usage Tips/Special Instructions Use overlays for anything requiring seamless tileing/texturing/patterns and incorporate the layer styles in any way that you like which conforms to my TOU (below) including commercial-use. -------- File List: [File name] cpd_winter_Overlays.pat cpd_winterfun_overlay_01.png cpd_winterfun_overlay_02.png cpd_winterfun_overlay_03.png cpd_winterfun_overlay_04.png cpd_winterfun_overlay_05.png cpd_winterfun_overlay_06.png cpd_winterfun_overlay_07.png cpd_winterfun_overlay_08.png cpd_winterfun_overlay_09.png cpd_winterfun_overlay_10.png cpd_winterfun_overlay_11.png cpd_winterfun_overlay_12.png cpd_winterfun_overlay_13.png cpd_winterfun_overlay_14.png cpd_winterfun_overlay_15.png cpd_winterfun_overlay_16.png cpd_winterfun_overlay_17.png cpd_winterfun_overlay_18.png cpd_winterfun_overlay_19.png cpd_winterfun_overlay_20.png cpd_winterfun_overlay_21.png cpd_winterfun_overlay_22.png cpd_winterfun_overlay_23.png cpd_winterfun_overlay_24.png cpd_winterfun_overlay_25.png cpd_winterfun_overlay_26.png cpd_winterfun_overlay_27.png cpd_winterfun_overlay_28.png cpd_winterfun_overlay_29.png cpd_winterfun_overlay_30.png cpd_winterfun_overlay_metallics.asl cpd_winteroverlays_pack_MAIN.jpg Total number of files = 33 [File Name] cpd_Winter_overlays_styles_pack_readme.txt renderosity_license.txt Total number of files = 2 Grand Total files = 35 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Copyright notice: You CAN use images to create any NEW personal or commercial derivative works.
