As with all my models, this asset was for my own future canvas compositions. 

Continuing with my current Scifi offerings, this model follows the Research Helmet offering by providing more of a Head Apparatus with protective shield. It is not meant to be a helmet, but rather a devise to aid the person wearing it.

A high poly model, it is all reflective materials using one texture map for the reflections. Rather then using a sky image for the reflection, it uses a dirty metal for its reflections. There are 43 materials including glass for this model.

I have not made the shield rotatable, but rather provided both an up and down version in props and naturally one can use the apparatus without the shield.

Attention: As a model that is either glass or reflective metal, to get the best results, lighting is the key. As shown in the renders, I have used the Terradome/Skydome product to get the most out of my materials and their reflections. As you can see there is a great deal of difference available using this lighting system and I highly recommend it. The model has 43 materials and you may want to swap the ones I have used for the components of this model, that too will provide you a means to give it your personal creative touch. In testing out the 43 materials, I re-assigned some materials to different items in the model as I made the renders. Feel free again to change what I have done for your own personal taste. You may also want to increase or even eliminate the reflective valises I have assigned each material. As more of an illustrator, I like having the ability to make changes in an asset without having to deal with repainting UV'ed images etc.
