Enjoy! -------------------------------------- System Requirements: - PC - For Poser 8 and higher (http://poser.smithmicro.com) -------------------------------------- Required product/software: - Victoria 4 from www.daz3d.com - For Poser 8 and higher (http://poser.smithmicro.com) -------------------------------------- Installation Instructions: Unzip this archive to your Poser directory. Make sure that all of the files are placed in the correct directories within your Poser Runtime directory. All files in the "Geometries"-folder go into: Poser/Runtime/Geometries/... All files in the "textures"-folder go into: Poser/Runtime/textures/... All files in the "Materials"-folder go into: Poser/Runtime/libraries/Materials/... All files in the "Props"-folder go into: Poser/Runtime/libraries/Props/... -------------------------------------- Usage Tips or Limitations: Step by Step ClothRoom *** - Open Poser - Load V4 - Load V4 Morphs++ and/or custom morphs (Don’t activate any morphs yet) - Un-check Inverse Kinematics on both the legs - Load the dress - Change Frame: 00001 of 00030 to 00001 of 00015 so you only left with 15 frames (OPTIONAL) - You get a pop-up asking if you are sure to delete some of your frames > OK (unless you need them off course) (OPTIONAL) - On frame 1 it's the default V4 pose which will fit the dress (not the zero pose) - Go to frame 8, morph V4 > Key frame (plus sign on the right of the time line) - Go to frame 15, pose your figure > Key frame (plus sign on the right of the time line) - Go to the cloth room - Make a new simulation - Start frame 1, end frame 15, steps per frame 2 - Check additional cloth collision options (I use Cloth self-collision, but you can check all 3 options if needed.) - Cloth draping NONE - Press OK - Clothify the dress - Collide against, check V4 or for a quicker simulation only the body parts of V4 that touch the dress, if V4 sits on the floor, check also the floor, this goes also for any furniture which will come in contact with the dress - The collision offset and collision depth on value 0.15 - Do NOT check start draping from zero pose - Ignore the head, hand and feet collisions if they don't touch the dress - The dynamic controls/groups are already build inside the dress - Pick the Cartoon Document Display Style during simulation it is sometimes faster (OPTIONAL) - Calculate simulation - Switch the display style back to Texture Shaded (Ctrl 9) after finishing the sim (OPTIONAL) *** If you experience poke-through after the simulation, go to the PoseRoom and select the Morphing Tool, select the create tab and brush on the dress with the dress selected on poke-throughs with the Pull option and the middle brush size, decrease the magnitude, after that Smooth it out with the Smooth Brush if necessary. Note While brushing with the morph tool start on the dress and work on towards the poke to prevent that something else keeps getting selected. If you have Poser Pro 2014 try the Loosen Fit option for poke-throughs, it works wonders, select Victoria 4 as your goal then. You can also use the morph brush on groups, check the Group option in the Morphing Tool and select the part of the dress you want to work on without affecting the other parts. *** You can find the dress in the Prop Library in a folder called Biscuits. All colors you can find in the Materials Library NOT in the Pose library. Select the Dress first if you want to apply a dress style. *** Check Use Displacement Maps in your render settings. Check Smooth Polygons in the render settings. --- A special note: It's possible that the hide options do not show up well in Preview, however this doesn't affect the final render. --- >>>This is NOT a merchant resource, NONE of the files may be distributed in any way.<<< The content in this package may NOT be redistributed, copied or sold in any way.
