The Autocar Company is a Hagerstown, Indiana specialist manufacturer of cabover vocational trucks, mainly for refuse applications. Started in 1899 in Ardmore, Pennsylvania as a manufacturer of Brass Era automobiles, and from 1907, trucks. The last cars were produced in 1912, but the company continued as a truck maker until 1953.
During World War Two, then president of the company, Robert Page, converted the factory to support the war effort. They built 12,106 half tracks - trucks with the rear wheels replaced by treads, 27,834 motor transport vehicles and 3,019 vehicles for the Navy. In a letter to them, General Dwight Eisenhower, then Supreme Commander of the Allied Forces Europe, proved the old saying that when it comes to war, amateurs discuss strategy, but professionals worry about logistics. He said, "It was the job of motor transport to deliver the goods, and American wheels and axles never let us down."

Installation instructions:
Check that you have the total control on your program.

Unzip and paste the Autocar u2044.vob somewhere in your hard drive. Then open it with the left mouse button, and your Vue program opens. Save your Autocar u2044.vob in the Objects\Vehicles\Terrestrial folder or in any folder of your choice.


Useage tips and instructions:

ROTATING PARTS ( ROLL, YAW ):
The four WHEELS can rotate by using the "Roll" rotate dial. For left to right movement of a front wheel as in steering, you use the "Yaw" rotate dial to your desired position. You must do this for both front wheel. 
The 2 doors can be opened.
