====================================================================== ************************************************************ *Product Name: Photo Textures: Surface of the Woods *Copyright 18/6 2015 *By: Gustaf Grefberg and HolyWonderWorld *Contact: Renderosity Sitemail ************************************************************ Surface of the Woods is a collection of 12 high resolution textures from real photographs of ground from various forests in Scandinavia. These textures cover larger areas of ground, up several meters large. Each texture was stitched together from collections of 25-50 overlapping photos, thus creating large textures that still retain a sense of detail! 11 textures are 4096x4096 resolution, with photographic displacement maps, and hand edited displacements to extrude roots, rocks, cones etc more clearly from the bottom. The last texture is a 2048x2048 plant overlay texture. The material files are made for Poser, but they are essentially just a photo texture with a displacement texture. This means you can use them in virtually any 3d application that support textures. The quality of the textures stand for themselves, and you can of course combine them yourself with more advanced shaders. -------------------------------------- System Requirements: Poser 6 or higher (For the material files) Any program that opens jpg files. -------------------------------------- Installation Instructions: To apply a material, go to materials, and then into the ShaaraMuse3D folder and into the Scenery folder. -------------------------------------- Usage Tips or Limitations: ****************************** ** Merchant resources used: ** ******************************* - My own photos and textures ************************ * General Stuff * ************************ Please note that the material files have the textures scaled to 50%, as this is a better match for Poser's scale in most circumstances. If you want it bigger or smaller, just edit the X and Y values for the diffues and displacement map in the material room. The same thing goes with the displacement strength. It may be extremely strong or weak, depending on the scale of your landscape, so you may want to tweak the values a bit to get the desired results. Other than that, see the renderosity license txt file. But as a general rule, use it however you want in your personal or commercial renders, just dont redistribute the package, in whole or in part, to make a competing product! Happy renderings! -------------------------------------- Files Included in the Product: ..Documentation\ PT_SurfaceoftheWoods_Readme.txt RENDEROSITY-LICENSE.txt ..Runtime\Libraries\Materials\ShaaraMuse3D\Scenery\PT_SurfaceOfTheWoods\ SotW_Grass01.mt5 SotW_Grass01.png SotW_Grass02.mt5 SotW_Grass02.png SotW_Grass03.mt5 SotW_Grass03.png SotW_GrassGravel01.mt5 SotW_GrassGravel01.png SotW_Moss01.mt5 SotW_Moss01.png SotW_NeedlesRoots01.mt5 SotW_NeedlesRoots01.png SotW_NeedlesRoots02.mt5 SotW_NeedlesRoots02.png SotW_NeedlesRoots03.mt5 SotW_NeedlesRoots03.png SotW_NeedlesRoots04.mt5 SotW_NeedlesRoots04.png SotW_NeedlesRoots05.mt5 SotW_NeedlesRoots05.png SotW_PlantOverLay01.mt5 SotW_PlantOverLay01.png SotW_SandNeedlesGrass01.mt5 SotW_SandNeedlesGrass01.png ..Runtime\Textures\ShaaraMuse3D\Scenery\PT_SurfaceOfTheWoods\ SotW_Grass01.jpg SotW_Grass01_Disp.jpg SotW_Grass02.jpg SotW_Grass02_Disp.jpg SotW_Grass03.jpg SotW_Grass03_Disp.jpg SotW_GrassGravel01.jpg SotW_GrassGravel01_Disp.jpg SotW_Moss01.jpg SotW_Moss01_Disp.jpg SotW_NeedlesRoots01.jpg SotW_NeedlesRoots01_Disp.jpg SotW_NeedlesRoots02.jpg SotW_NeedlesRoots02_Disp.jpg SotW_NeedlesRoots03.jpg SotW_NeedlesRoots03_Disp.jpg SotW_NeedlesRoots04.jpg SotW_NeedlesRoots04_Disp.jpg SotW_NeedlesRoots05.jpg SotW_NeedlesRoots05_Disp.jpg SotW_PlantOverlay01.jpg SotW_PlantOverlay01_Disp.jpg SotW_SandNeedlesGrass01.jpg SotW_SandNeedlesGrass01_Disp.jpg
