The textures are photorealistic and are over the whole stem, without any sense of tiling or repetition shown. They are also very low in polygons, using alpha sheets instead of individual leaves, which means you can fill a scene with many of them. Of course, raytracing alpha channels can take render time as well. The following is included: 8 large bamboo trees 8 medium bamboo stems 6 small bamboo sprouts 3 large bamboo groups 3 large bamboo thickets, for instant forest creation. An object version is included (with which you must manually apply the variants of the trunk textures too if you want to use them) A Daz materials file is included as well, in order for you to use the different trunk textures in DS. They are currently using bump maps but the same textures can easily be applied as displacement maps as well for Iray shaders. -------------------------------------- System Requirements: Poser 6 or higher, Daz Studio, any program that opens .obj files -------------------------------------- Installation Instructions: Unzip the files into your poser directory. To open a a prop, you go to props, then into the ShaaraMuse3D folder and then into the Scenery and PP_Bambooworld folder. To apply a material, go to materials, and then into the ShaaraMuse3D folder and into the PP_Bambooworld folder. As far as the legal stuff goes, see the renderosity license txt file.
