--------------------------------------------------- Product Name: Kalinin K-7 Experimental Aircraft Copyright 2015 Michael Crisafulli Contact Michael_C via Renderosity Site Mail -------------------------------------- Product Description Conceiving a giant plane that could be a heavy bomber or a troop carrier or an airliner, Konstantin Kalinin designed, built, and flew the prototype K-7 in the early 1930s. The Kalinin K-7 Experimental Aircraft is a fully articulated Poser figure of a real early 20th century airplane, sized for Poser people. The figure features many moving parts controlled by coordinated ERC controls at the Body level. The figure, which includes a full detailed cockpit, is designed for Poser but is compatible with DAZ Studio (see Usage Tips below). FIGURE · Full prototype aircraft, preloaded with standard props · All controls are accessible at the BODY level, coordinated so that linked parts of the figure operate together, and articulated to facilitate animation. Coordinated controls The K-7's pilot controls moved small trim tabs connected to the trailing edge of the larger control surfaces. When a trim tab moved it deflected the attached full surface. This allowed the pilot to control this giant aircraft with less exertion. · Ailerons coordinated with trim tab control surfaces and pilot's wheel · Elevator coordinated with trim tabs and control column · Rudders coordinated with trim tabs and pedal assembly Other controls · Propellers turn · 3 Cabin, 4 sponson and 6 wing hatches open individually · Seats are individually adjustable PRELOADED PROPS · Spinning propellers POSES · Crew - 7 M4 & 5 V4 poses - Special no-position (NoPOS) poses are provided change some poses without changing a figure's position. · Poses turn spinning propellers on/off · MAT poses to turn K-7 sponson emblems on/off · MAT poses to turn Red Star insignia on/off · MAT pose for grunge texture CAMERAS · Full camera set for easy viewing and rendering - Includes main, alternate, left, right, top, bottom, front, and back cameras · Separate Dolly Cam settings for locations about the aircraft including - Crew positions - Inside and outside aircraft LIGHTS The product includes simple day and night light sets TEXTURES: All components are UV-mapped 63 different textures up to 4000x4000 All texture templates included GEOMETRY The figure and props use external geometry in the Poser geometries folder -------------------------------------- System Requirements: PC and Mac compatible Poser 6 and above Works in Poser 5, but materials must be set with MAT pose Tested in DAZ Studio 4.7 -------------------------------------- Ownership Statement: All of the content in this package was created by Michael Crisafulli (Michael_C) and may include derivatives of the following vendor/merchant resources: One or more textures on this 3D model have been created with images from Textures.com. Refer to the file list below for file locations. Note that the geometries and textures MUST be in the listed locations. -------------------------------------- Usage Tips: The K-7 is a compound figure including some props. To access the controls select the K-7 figure Body. Parameter dials - The parameter dial groups load collapsed for convenience. Open a group or subgroup to use it. Transform These dials control the scale, attitude, and position of the K-7 and all parented attachments. Controls Pilot Climb/Dive - Operate the elevator trim tabs and the 3-part elevator in concert with the control column. Bank – Operate the aileron trim tabs and the ailerons in concert with the wheel. Rudder control - Operate the rudder trim tabs and the dual rudders in concert with the pedal assembly. Engineer Engine Power – Position the control levers for the seven engines. Note that Engineer poses 2 and 3 are set for Engine Power at 0.5 Doors Cabin Open the FWD Hatch and Cabin Door – 0-1, latch turns, 1-2, door opens Open the deck hatch to the navigator station Sponson Open the four hatches that provided crew access to the aircraft Wing Open six windows on the leading and trailing edges of the wing Operate Spin the propellers, roll the main wheels, and roll the tail skid wheels Adjustments Upper Cabin Adjust the pilot seat position Adjust the pilot control positions Adjust the radio operator and engineer seat positions Lower cabin Fold the navigator seat for access from the entry ladder Adjust the navigator seat position M4 and V4 poses - Turn off IK before posing figures. M4 and V4 poses are positioned to match the as-loaded K-7 figure. Poses may require some adjustment for clothing. (Be sure to parent the figures to the K-7 if you wish to move them in concert. NoPOS poses are included to change the navigator and engineer poses without repositioning the figure. These are necessary when the figure has been parented to the K-7.) MAT Poses There are separate MAT poses to turn the wing and tail Red Stars on and off with and without the dirty grunge texture set. Note on rendering: Some interior/exterior surfaces are close together and may produce render artifacts. If these present a problem, turn "Remove backfacing polys" on in Render Settings. ------------------------------ -- DAZ Studio Compatibility – ------------------------------ The K-7 figure loads, operates, and renders well in DAZ Studio. However, differences between the operation of Poser and DAZ Studio prevent some of the product poses from working correctly in DAZ Studio: - The spinning propellers are separate preloaded props. When Body is selected Poser turns off the standard propellers and turns on the parented propeller disks; DAZ studio turns off the stationary propellers (components of the figure) but the separate disk props must be turned on individually. - The sponson and tail boom insignia are preloaded props and must be similarly made visible/invisible manually. - The wing and tail stars use a Poser material node Blender function that doesn't work in DAZ Studio. --------------------------------------------------- List of files contained within this product's zip files. :Runtime:Geometries:MCC:Kalinin BoomInsignia.obj CompassUV.obj CoverUV.obj Interior3UV.obj K-7CablingUV.obj K-7P.obj NavInst.obj SpinningProp2UV.obj SponsonInsignia.obj :Runtime:libraries:Camera:Michael_C:Kalinin K-7 Set.cm2 K-7 Set.png :Runtime:libraries:Camera:Michael_C:Kalinin:Dolly CAMs Cockpit Outside.cm2 Cockpit Outside.png Engineer Outside.cm2 Engineer Outside.png Engineer.cm2 Engineer.png Navigator Outside.cm2 Navigator Outside.png Navigator.cm2 Navigator.png Pilot Outside 1.cm2 Pilot Outside 1.png Pilot Outside 2.cm2 Pilot Outside 2.png Pilot.cm2 Pilot.png Radio Operator.cm2 Radio Operator.png :Runtime:libraries:Character:Michael_C:Kalinin K-7.cr2 K-7.png :Runtime:libraries:Light:Michael_C:Kalinin K-7 Daylight.lt2 K-7 Daylight.png K-7 Moonlight.lt2 K-7 Moonlight.png :Runtime:libraries:Pose:Michael_C:Kalinin K-7 Spinning Props OFF.png K-7 Spinning Props OFF.pz2 K-7 Spinning Props ON.png K-7 Spinning Props ON.pz2 :Runtime:libraries:Pose:Michael_C:Kalinin:Crew:M4 M4 Engineer 1 NoPOS.png M4 Engineer 1 NoPOS.pz2 M4 Engineer 1.png M4 Engineer 1.pz2 M4 Engineer 2 NoPOS.png M4 Engineer 2 NoPOS.pz2 M4 Engineer 2.png M4 Engineer 2.pz2 M4 Engineer 3 NoPOS.png M4 Engineer 3 NoPOS.pz2 M4 Engineer 3.png M4 Engineer 3.pz2 M4 Navigator NoPOS.png M4 Navigator NoPOS.pz2 M4 Navigator Sight NoPOS.png M4 Navigator Sight NoPOS.pz2 M4 Navigator Sight.png M4 Navigator Sight.pz2 M4 Navigator.png M4 Navigator.pz2 M4 Pilot.png M4 Pilot.pz2 M4 Radio Operator.png M4 Radio Operator.pz2 :Runtime:libraries:Pose:Michael_C:Kalinin:Crew:V4 V4 Engineer.png V4 Engineer.pz2 V4 Navigator NoPOS.png V4 Navigator NoPOS.pz2 V4 Navigator Sight NoPOS.png V4 Navigator Sight NoPOS.pz2 V4 Navigator Sight.png V4 Navigator Sight.pz2 V4 Navigator.png V4 Navigator.pz2 V4 Pilot.png V4 Pilot.pz2 V4 Radio Operator.png V4 Radio Operator.pz2 :Runtime:libraries:Pose:Michael_C:Kalinin:MAT K-7 Grunge Stars OFF MAT.png K-7 Grunge Stars OFF MAT.pz2 K-7 Grunge Stars ON MAT.png K-7 Grunge Stars ON MAT.pz2 K-7 Stars OFF MAT.png K-7 Stars OFF MAT.pz2 K-7 Stars ON MAT.png K-7 Stars ON MAT.pz2 K-7 Clean MAT.png K-7 Clean MAT.pz2 K-7 Grunge MAT.png K-7 Grunge MAT.pz2 K-7 Insignia OFF MAT.png K-7 Insignia OFF MAT.pz2 K-7 Insignia ON MAT.png K-7 Insignia ON MAT.pz2 :Runtime:textures:MCC:IBL 20150601_0251.JPG :Runtime:textures:MCC:Kalinin K7-BombControlPanel4.jpg K7-Boom.jpg K7-BoomBump.jpg K7-COMPanel.jpg K7-CabinExt.jpg K7-CabinExtBump.jpg K7-CabinExtG.jpg K7-CabinInt.jpg K7-CabinIntBunp.jpg K7-Cable.jpg K7-CableAssy.jpg K7-CenterEngineG.jpg K7-Compass.jpg K7-CompassGlow.jpg K7-Cover.jpg K7-Engine.jpg K7-EngineBump.jpg K7-EngineControl.jpg K7-EngineG.jpg K7-EnginePanel.jpg K7-EnginePanelGlow.jpg K7-Glass.jpg K7-GlassG.jpg K7-Insignia.jpg K7-InsigniaAlpha.jpg K7-LowerCabinExt.jpg K7-LowerCabinExtBump.jpg K7-LowerCabinExtG.jpg K7-LowerCabinInt.jpg K7-LowerCabinIntBump.jpg K7-LowerCabinIntGlow.jpg K7-PilotPan.jpg K7-PilotPanGlow.jpg K7-RadioPanel.jpg K7-Seat.jpg K7-SpinningProp.jpg K7-SpinningPropTrans.jpg K7-Sponson.jpg K7-SponsonBump.jpg K7-SponsonG.jpg K7-Tail.jpg K7-TailAlpha.jpg K7-TailBump.jpg K7-TailG.jpg K7-TailStars.jpg K7-Wheel1000.jpg K7-Wheel1000Bunp.jpg K7-Wheel1000G.jpg K7-Wheel750.jpg K7-Wheel750Bump.jpg K7-Wheel750G.jpg K7-WheelTail.jpg K7-WheelTailBump.jpg K7-WheelTailG.jpg K7-Wing-Bump.jpg K7-Wing.jpg K7-WingAlpha.jpg K7-WingG.jpg K7-WingInt.jpg K7-WingStars.jpg k7-SponsonInt.jpg k7-SponsonIntBump.jpg :Documentation:Michael_C K-7 Prototype ReadMe.txt Marketplace_Standard_License.txt :Templates:Michael_C Boom.bmp CabinExt.bmp CabinInt.bmp Cabling.bmp COMPanel.bmp Compass.bmp CoverUV.bmp Engine.bmp EngineControl.bmp EnginePanel.bmp Glass.bmp Insignia.bmp K-7CableAssy.bmp LowerCabinExt.bmp LowerCabinInt.bmp PilotPanel.bmp RadioPanel.bmp Seat.bmp SpinningProp2UV.bmp Sponson.bmp SponsonInt.bmp Tail.bmp Wheel.bmp Wing.bmp WingInt.bmp Engine(center).bmp
