************************************************************ *Product Name: Biscuits Hair Salon Unseelie *Copyright: Biscuits ************************************************************ Product Description Hair Salon is something special! With separate hair props you can build different hairstyles. This product can be used standalone, but can also work as addons, so you can mix and match the hairprops with others from my Hair Salon Line! --- This product comes with one Cap and 8 separate Hair Props. - Cap - Bangs - Base Full - Base Horn + Mirror - Horn + Mirror - Side Strands + Mirror You can pick any combination of props, just make sure you always load the cap first. --- Also included Presets: - 2 Defaults (Loads all the hairprops as one hairstyle) - 6 *one click and load* Presets --- It comes in 15 colors for the cap and 15 single colors that will fit on all hair props. This makes it possible to combine a blonde leftside with a black rightside for example! (Note that all RGB HairSalon addons fit on these props.) --- Morphs: Hair Salon Unseelie --- Cap CAP Offset --- BaseHorn + Mirror AltA AltB AltC (To break up symmetry) --- Base Full Air Baroness High Thin Volume Wild --- Bangs Air Choppy In Long Messy Out Parting Pointy Short --- Side Strands + Mirror Air Messy Move from face Move to back Move to face Move to front Wide Windy -------------------------------------- System Requirements: - PC - For Poser 8 and higher (http://poser.smithmicro.com) - 64 bit Poser is recommended! -------------------------------------- Required product/software: - Victoria 4 from www.daz3d.com - For Poser 8 and higher (http://poser.smithmicro.com) -------------------------------------- Ownership Statement: All of this product's content was created by Biscuits. -------------------------------------- Installation Instructions: Unzip this archive to your Poser directory. Make sure that all of the files are placed in the correct directories within your Poser Runtime directory. All files in the "Geometries"-folder go into: Poser/Runtime/Geometries/Biscuits... All files in the "textures"-folder go into: Poser/Runtime/textures/Biscuits... All files in the "Materials"-folder go into: Poser/Runtime/libraries/Materials/Biscuits... All files in the "Pose"-folder go into: Poser/Runtime/libraries/Pose/Biscuits... All files in the "Hair"-folder (these are pp2files) go into: Poser/Runtime/libraries/Hair/Biscuits... -------------------------------------- Usage Tips or Limitations: --- Important: Load the Cap always first. If you load the cap first, all hairprops you load are parented to the cap. Which means, if you scale the cap to fit to other heads, like A4 the hairprops will scale with the cap. Just go to Transform in the Parameters of the HSCap. If you delete the cap, you can delete all hairprops at the same time. (Check delete attached) If you don't see a delete attached option, you can delete the props the normal way (select delete) or in the hierarchy editor, select multiple props with shift key, rightclick and in the dropdownmenu delete selected. --- Single Hair Colors work on any hair prop from the Hair Salon. You can find all haircolors and capcolors in the Materials Library. Select the Hairprop first if you want to apply a single haircolor....do this for all the hairprops separately. Select the Cap first if you want to apply a single capcolor. --- You can find the seperate hairprops and the cap in the Hair Library in a folder called Biscuits. --- How to fit the hair to other heads: Load cap, translate into position, scale with fullscale, x-scale, yscale and zscale. Adjust until everything fits. Partial pokethrough on the back of the head is not important since it is obscured by the base. Then copy the cap values parameter on the clipboard and delete the cap. Then load a preset, select the cap en paste the values. (Select Cap edit your trans values with parameters tab open, ctrl C, delete cap, load preset, select cap parameters tab open ctrl V). Following values are estimates, note the trans values depend on your units used, these are meters. G2F: xcale 103, yscale 102, zscale 103 A4: Scale 118, xscale 107, yscale 109, zscale 98, ztran 0.005 Roxie: xscale 102, zscale 104, ytran -0.103, ztran 0.010 Dawn: scale 102, xscale 102, ztran 0.047 K4: scale 96, xscale 99, yscale 100, zscale 96, ytran -0.860, ztran 0.008 S4 petite: scaling is scale 108 NOTE: Scaling depends on the strength of the morphs you have chosen. --- Preview may not display correctly, please render. --- Check Smooth Polygons in the rendersettings. For quicker rendering use depthmap shadows. For final renders it is recommended that you turn visible in raytracing ON for each hairprop. --- This hairpack contains hairprops in high quality, which can be heavy on system resources, 64 bit Poser is recommended. --- Please CHECK Separate Process in your General Preferences (Render tab), FireFly runs as a separate process that way and doesn't need to share it's memory with Poser itself. This will help you if you have trouble rendering. --- Smoothing - Use the Morph Brush with the Smooth Option on the hairprops to iron out wrinkles and make the hair more asymmetric. - If you want the complete prop(s) to be smoothed, you can use Posers Subdivision Levels in the Properties from each prop. However that option is greyed out by default, to activate it you need to do the following: - Select your Figure (V4) - Menu > Figure > Skinning Method > Poser Unimesh - Select your hair props and set the Subdivision Levels to 1 - Select V4 and set the Skinning Method back to Poser Traditional (the props keep the subD 1 eventhough they are greyed out again). --- A morph trick! Select a prop for example the strand and morph it, with the parameter tab open press Ctrl C (all your translations, scaling and morphs will be copied), select the mirrored strand and with the parameters tab open ctrl V, to paste your morphs to the other side, note when you translate over the X-axis you need to make minus out of a plus, like -1 >< 1). --- Due to the nature and number of the morphs, they can act unpredictable when used together. If this happens, try other combinations of morphs. --- Some morphs for example in the BaseFull prop, are best at value 1, lower values might give strange results. --- If you use Octane and see strange stripes horizontally, use the smooth option from Poser's morphbrush over that area. And use the fitting option on the cap to avoid pokethrough from the head. Also in Octane in the Materials > select the mesh of the hairprops and set the subdivision level to 1 or 2, the hair will be very smooth then. Also in Octane set the Gamma from 1 to 0.5 for the transparency texture, to get a thicker, fuller transmap. --- >>>This is NOT a merchant resource, NONE of the files may be distributed in any way.<<< The content in this package may NOT be redistributed, copied or sold in any way.
