Enjoy 4 types of melons in various configurations, with high resolution 2K textures (2048x2048) with bump/displacements (created from high resolution meshes) The following are included: Cantelope - Whole Cantelope - Half Cantelope - Slice Honeydew - Whole Honeydew - Cut Santaclaus - Whole Santaclaus - Half Santaclaus - Slice Watermelon - Whole Watermelon - Half (cut in angles) Watermelon - Slice Watermelon - Slice with bite The props are made for Poser, and comes with an Obj version as well, which means it can be loaded into virtually any 3d application. It's compatible with, and loads fine in Daz Studio, however, you may need to make a few simple adjustments. See readme. -------------------------------------- System Requirements: Poser 6 or higher -------------------------------------- Installation Instructions: Unzip the files into your poser directory. To open a a prop, you go to props, then into the ShaaraMuse3D folder and then into the Scenery and PB_Melons folder. To apply a material, go to materials, and then into the ShaaraMuse3D folder and into the PB_Melons folder. -------------------------------------- Usage Tips or Limitations: ****************************** ** Merchant resources used: ** ****************************** - My own photos and textures ************************ * Daz Studio * ************************ The props in this product will load perfectly fine in Daz Studio, however, a few minor tweaks are suggested for optimum results. If you are using Iray, apply the Uber shader and increase the roughness so you don't get so much shine. Also, you may want to increase the values for the bump map, since it's a bit "weak" in the translation from Poser- If you are not using Iray, just change the material type to "matte", and increase the bump map values here as well, and you are good to go! ************************************ * Bump and discplacement maps * ************************************ These models come with bump and displacement maps, which means they will reflect and render light with more detail, as if it was an even higher resolution model. The displacement map means it actually displaces the geometry of the model, making it stick out and push in, creating real shadows from the details. There are a few things you might want to keep in mind with this for optimum results. The first is the lighting on your scene and the scaling of your model. Where normal maps will be affected by the light in approximately the same way independent of scale, bump and displacement maps can give different strengh depending on how much you scale the model. If you scale it up in size, you may want to dial down the bump and displacement settings, and if you scale it down, you may want to dial them up a bit. It also depends on the light and your preferences. ************************ * General Stuff * ************************ Templates for creating textures can be found in the Templates folder. As far as the legal stuff goes, see the renderosity license txt file. But as a general rule, use it however you want in your personal or commercial renders, just dont redistribute the package, in whole or in part, to make a competing product!
