The scifi 50's that is. Even though it is the year, 3015. But the folks there love their sci-fi, especially when its cheesy and there is a need for a sweet and adorable hero, like Suzi Moonbeam, to have a killer ray-gun to terminate those scary, creepy-crawly, universe-bent-on-domination, creatures of their fertile imagination. Proving Quantum Physicians right in their belief that the universe, or at least this part of it, is a product of a collective subconscious, or in other words, the stuff we dream up! Luckily, Suzi Moonbeam is there whenever the universe needs saving (again), with her Killer Raygun in hand. It's Suzi Moonbeam, to the rescue! A companion set for our Suzi Moonbeam, Galaxy Defender, Part One (highly recommended) but may be used with Victora 4.2 and the ++ and elite morphs (morphs optional). This set includes: 1) Clothing (.cr2) ~ Suzi Thigh Strap (rigged specifically for Suzi) ~ V4 Thigh Strap (rigged for the default V4 figure and supports the ++ & Elite morphs, except for emaciated and heavy) 2) Props (.pp2) ~ Holster with Raygun (universal) ~ Holster with Raygun_sp (smart prop - right thigh, Thigh strap or V4 figure) ~ Raygun (universal) ~ Raygun_rh (smart prop - right hand) * Holster has morph to hide/show raygun. Raygun has morphs for Stun and Decimate firing of raybeam options. 3) Clothing & Prop Textures & MATs (.mc6 - Superfly and Firefly versions) ~ Holster Any Color ~ Holster Default ~ Raygun Any Color ~ Raygun Default ~ Thigh Strap Any Color The AnyColor mats are designed so you can easily color the item(s) anyway you like. Just apply the AnyColor .mc6 for the item and go into the Material room and change the diffuse color to the color of your choice or apply a texture tile to the diffuse channel if you prefer. The AnyColor mc6 takes care of adding any specular, normal, diplacement, or bump maps needed for the item. You can even copy the normal and/or displacement maps in use, apply a shader material of your own chosing and add these back to work with that shader. The texturing options are endless and so easy. 4) Suzi Poses (Figure Poses - .pz2, Facial Expressions - .fc2, Hand Pose - .hd2) ~ 20 Facial Expression poses, plus one zero expression pose ~ 01 Hand Pose for Raygun ~ 25 Figure Poses for Suzi, plus one Zero pose -------------------------------------- System Requirements & Supported Software: PC and Mac compatible Poser 9 or higher Daz Studio - not directly supported but most content will work ok. The holster is setup to attach to the right thigh group, this can be the thigh strap clothing or your figure. To use the Holster you should first clothe and pose your figure (with any body shape morphs you wish to use, if using the V4 figure, applied), then load the holster and use the x, y, z, translation and rotation dials in the holster to position to the figure pose and/or bodyshape as needed. By default the smart prop holster is set to work with the Suzi character and may need minor adjustment of placement (very easy using the translation/rotation dials) for the standard V4 or other character body shapes. ~ The thigh strap, raygun, and holster may easily be given a wide range of looks by changing the diffuse color or else combining the normal and/or displacement map settings and using these with any material shaders, such as the parrotdolphin shaders (available for both Poser and Daz Studio). ~ While Daz Studio is not directly supported (no DS specific content files are included) most of the Poser V4 content will work in Daz Studio 4.9. Some adjustments to materials or the fit of the props or clothing may be needed, but most of the time this will not be necessary. Mainly the normal and displacement maps used in the clothing and props will need to be adjusted for Daz Studio as Poser handles these differently. It is also very simple to apply Daz Studio based material shaders to the clothing and props and then add the normal maps to obtain the extra details built into these maps. ~ The Thigh Strap must be magnetized (have the built-in deformers in the V4 figure applied to the clothing) to work correctly. There is a preset in the Pose library folder for doing this.
