To load a dynamic prop, go to the Props tab, then select Frequency3D and browse to Props/Sprinkle/. To apply a .mc6 material collection, go to the Materials tab, then select Frequency3D and browse to Props/Party Sprinkle/. ************************************************************** ************************************* DAZ Studio Installation Instructions: ************************************* Unzip the files into your DAZ Studio directory. To load a dForce prop, go to Props/FRQ/Sprinkle, materials are in Props/FRQ/Sprinkle/Materials/Party Sprinkle/ To load a ground plane prop, go to Props/FRQ/Ground Planes, materials are in Props/FRQ/Ground planes/Materials/ ************************************************************** ***************** Poser Usage Tips: ***************** Using this product is fairly simple. Just do the following steps: 1. Make sure you have your scene set up the way you want it. 2. Load one of the Sprinkle clusters. 3. Go into the Cloth room, and clothify the prop. 4. Go to "Collide With" and choose any items you want your cluster to interact with. Please note that the more items you collide, the slower the collision/calculation will become. 5. Set up the cloth settings. The default settings generally work well, but you may want to turn friction on, and set both static and dynamic friction to 1. This will prevent the individual planes from sliding off of surfaces too quickly. They tend to "gather" in holes and down below slopes if you are using a non-flat surface. Increasing the friction will reduce this somewhat. Decreasing the density will help towards this too. 6. In the simulation settings, set the amount of frames you want. 60 frames or higher is usually recommended, since the simulation may not finish completely in time with only 30 frames. * You can add as many clusters as you want, using a new simulation for each one, using different materials if you wish. * A "Cloud" is also included, this one is not flat, but has random rotation in a cloud structure, this is very useful if you want the sense of objects falling in mid-air. Can be simulated or just placed as-is. * Make sure before the simulation that the cluster is -above- the items it is going to collect with, adjust this with the y-translate on your first frame. * Try rotating and scaling the clusters before simulation to get even more variations! MATERIALS: * For optimal results, you can render in SuperFly, or in FireFly using IDL. The materials will work in any version of Poser that handles .mc6 files. * Some of the materials use the physical (PBR) root node for SuperFly only, together with a normal map. When loading these materials in Poser versions before P11, you may see an orphaned node or two in the material room. These belong to the SuperFly setup, and can simply be ignored. ************************************************************** ***************** DAZ Studio Usage Tips: ***************** Using this product is fairly simple. Just do the following steps: 1. Make sure you have your scene set up the way you want it. 2. Load one of the leaf clusters. 3. Dynamics is already set up for the petals, so all you have to do is to align them over your scene (Make sure they are above the scene, any leaf inside something will disappear during the simulation) 4. A ground plane has been added to this product for your convenience. 5. Hit simulate either from present frame, or through the animation range if you have set up your scene this way. * You can add as many clusters as you want, using a new simulation for each one, using different leaf textures and variants * Experiment with either the global Gravity setting, or the Density setting(s) under Surfaces/Simulation for how fast the planes will drop, and how far they will go during the simulation. * A "Cloud" is also included, this one is not flat, but has random rotation in a cloud structure, this is very useful if you want the sense of objects falling in mid-air.
