For using the clothes for Pauline you need to have Poser 11 or Poser 11 Pro and Pauline which is included in Poser 11 and Poser 11 Pro. For using the clothes for V4 you need to have Poser 6 or higher =================================================================================================== Included in this set are: - Skirt for Pauline (smart prop / dynamic clothing - default and predraped version) - Skirt for V4 (smart prop / dynamic clothing - default and predraped version) - Top for Pauline - Top for V4 - Poses for IKOFF Legs and IKOn Legs - Pose to Zero Figure - 5 material settings (m6) for the skirt / 5 for the top - 10 textures and 5 bumpmaps - each 4000 x 4000 pixel =================================================================================================== Unzip all files to your Poser Runtime Directory. =================================================================================================== ::::::::::: Usage notes ::::::::::: Please follow these steps for your first clothing simulation, or have a look at your Poser manual if you are not familiar with the Cloth Room: Load Pauline or V4 into your scene: - Click on Pauline or V4, then in the Menue on "Figure --> Use Inverse Kinematics" and make sure all is unchecked. - Click on "Figure", select Pauline or V4 and click on "Zero Figure" I also included poses for you to make this step quicker / easier. You will find them in the same folder as the clothes. These are the poses: !IKOffLegs, !IKOnLegs and !FigureZero - Open your props library and load the clothes into your scene. - Open the Cloth Room and click on "New simulation" - You can leave the setting as they are or if you just want to make a quicker try - lower the end frame for example to 15. - Click on "ok" - Click Clothify and choose the clothes - they will be listed under props - then hit Clothify to exit the dialog box. Select Collide Against, then Add/Remove, and choose Pauline or V4. (The simulation will be quicker if you uncheck all bodyparts which will not affect the cloth) Hit "ok". Back in the Collide Against dialog, make sure that the 'Current Collision Object' has Pauline or V4 displayed. You may want to enable the 'Start draping from zero pose' option. Quick hint on Collide settings: Collision Offset is the distance of the cloth from the collision object and Collision Depth is the thickness of the cloth. Play with these numbers as needed to get the results you want. Hit "ok" If you work with the default settings (30 frames), go to about frame 15 - 20 and add a pose to Pauline or V4. I never apply the pose in the last (30th) frame. You will get nicer and smoother folds if you have some frames after the frame you added the pose. When the simulation is finished and the result is to smooth for your taste, you can always go a few frames back. - Click on "start simulation". It will take a bit time until the simulation will be done. How much time depends on you computer. If you are not satisfied with the result you have, you can play around with the fabric settings. Changes in the settings can give a large difference for the end result of the simulation. I often use different fabric settings for different poses. There is nothing like "best settings" for all poses. :::::::: If you are working with a Poser version which include the morph brush - I highly recommend using it for smoothing sharp folds in dynamic clothes. Try changing the document display style to "smooth lines" and you can see, were the mesh of the clothes needs to be smoothed. The morph brush in Poser is an incredible useful tool. If you did not try it - check it out! :::::::: Please have a look at your manual for further, detailed informations to get the best settings for the look you want. I hope you will have fun with this set :) Kerstin Weihe / karanta **************************************************************** ..\Documentation\ Renderosity License.txt V4PaulineSpringFashion-karanta.txt ..\Runtime\Geometries\Karanta\KW17_V4_P_SprFash\ KW17_PSkirt.obj KW17_PSkirt_PD.obj KW17_PTop.obj KW17_V4Skirt.obj KW17_V4Skirt_PD.obj KW17_V4Top.obj ..\Runtime\Libraries\Materials\Clothing\karanta\Spring Fashion V4 Pauline\ 01 Skirt.mc6 01 Skirt.png 01 Top.mc6 01 Top.png 02 Skirt.mc6 02 Skirt.png 02 Top.mc6 02 Top.png 03 Skirt.mc6 03 Skirt.png 03 Top.mc6 03 Top.png 04 Skirt.mc6 04 Skirt.png 04 Top.mc6 04 Top.png 05 Skirt.mc6 05 Skirt.png 05 Top.mc6 05 Top.png ..\Runtime\Libraries\Props\Clothing\karanta\Spring Fashion V4 + Pauline\ !FigureZero.png !FigureZero.pz2 !IKOffLegs.png !IKOffLegs.pz2 !IKOnLegs.png !IKOnLegs.pz2 Pauline Skirt - Default.png Pauline Skirt - Default.pp2 Pauline Skirt - Pre draped.png Pauline Skirt - Pre draped.pp2 Pauline Top.png Pauline Top.pp2 V4 Skirt - Default.png V4 Skirt - Default.pp2 V4 Skirt - Pre draped.png V4 Skirt - Pre draped.pp2 V4 Top.png V4 Top.pp2 ..\Runtime\Textures\Karanta\KW_V4Pauline_SpringFash\ KW17_V4SprFashSkirtB1.jpg KW17_V4SprFashSkirtB2.jpg KW17_V4SprFashSkirtTx1.jpg KW17_V4SprFashSkirtTx2.jpg KW17_V4SprFashSkirtTx3.jpg KW17_V4SprFashSkirtTx4.jpg KW17_V4SprFashSkirtTx5.jpg KW17_V4SprFashTopB1.jpg KW17_V4SprFashTopB2.jpg KW17_V4SprFashTopB3.jpg KW17_V4SprFashTopTx1.jpg KW17_V4SprFashTopTx2.jpg KW17_V4SprFashTopTx3.jpg KW17_V4SprFashTopTx4.jpg KW17_V4SprFashTopTx5.jpg
