There are 24 different models representing fluids of varying viscosities landing on flat surfaces. They were designed as accurate simulations of liquids falling or squirting onto surfaces. In Poser, they include morphs so that they can be curved in one of two axes enabling you to better fit them to whatever object you wish to rest them on. Go to the props library to find the models if you are using this product in Poser or Daz Studio. You will find them under AcePyx/Splats and puddles. Double click to load the required model. Almost all of the models work best when slightly buried into the surface on which they are resting. The models are generally quite thick, so the less you bury them, the more viscous you can make the liquid appear. You can find a variety of textures in the materials library. Materials in the "Poser 6" folder will work with Poser 6 and higher (although results may vary from version to version). Materials in the Superfly folder will only work with Poser 11's PBR Superfly render engine. These materials are often volumetric so be sure that you set Volumetric Bounces in the Superfly render settings to at least 1. These Superfly materials are far more sensitive to lighting, background lightness, and distance from the camera. The Green slime and Bloody goo textures include displacement when used on large sized objects. You may need to increase the prop or object's Subdivision level to 2 or 3 before the displacement effects become evident, but it looks great up close. For more distant renders use the Poser 6 versions. The water effects work best against light coloured backgrounds with some degree of back lighting and objects or backgrounds behind to shine through the water. WARNING!!! Using even small transparent objects in Poser can DRAMATICALLY increase render times. I strongly suggest that you perform all scene building and test renders using solid materials such as blood, and only swap in transparent ones at final render. USE IN DAZ STUDIO There are no specific DAZ files included. However, provided you are using the latest version of DAZ Studio you will be able to load the models. However you will NOT be able to use the Poser materials or the morphs. I'm hoping to release a DAZ specific version soon. USE IN OTHER 3D PROGRAMS You can use these models in any 3D program that can import models in OBJ (Wavefront object) format. Do NOT modify the OBJ files stored at Runtime\Geometries\AcePyx\Liquids\splats_and_puddles as these are required for the DAZ and Poser installs. You can find OBJ files in a separate zip file. These are Poser scaled.
