Product Name : Sweet Summer for Maisie *************************************************** © Copyright 2017 Kerstin Weihe (karanta) All Rights Reserved The product was designed on a PC with Windows 7 and not tested on a MAC. *********************************************************************************** All of the content in this package was created by Kerstin Weihe (karanta). ****************************************************************************** The prop clothes in this set can only be used in the Poser Cloth Room. For using this product you need Maisie (available at Renderosity) =================================================================================================== Included in this set are: - Dress (smart prop / dynamic clothing) / "Fit Lacey" morph included - 10 Material settings for the different styles (mc6) - 01 Material settings for default white (mc6) - 10 textures, 2 bumpmaps - all 4000 x 4000 pixel The dress has an external geometry file (obj) =================================================================================================== Unzip all files to your Poser Runtime Directory. =================================================================================================== ::::::::::: Usage notes ::::::::::: Please follow these steps for your first clothing simulation, or have a look at your Poser manual if you are not familiar with the Cloth Room: Load Maisie into your scene: - Click on Maisie, then in the Menue on "Figure --> Use Inverse Kinematics" and make sure all is unchecked. - Click on "Figure", select Maisie and click on "Zero Figure" - Open your props library and load the dress into your scene. - Open the Cloth Room and click on "New simulation" - You can leave the setting as they are or if you just want to make a quicker try - lower the end frame for example to 15. - Click on "ok" - Click Clothify and choose the dress - it will be listed under props - then hit Clothify to exit the dialog box. Select Collide Against, then Add/Remove, and choose Maisie. (The simulation will be quicker if you uncheck all bodyparts which will not affect the cloth) Hit "ok". Back in the Collide Against dialog, make sure that the 'Current Collision Object' has Maisie displayed. You may want to enable the 'Start draping from zero pose' option. Quick hint on Collide settings: Collision Offset is the distance of the cloth from the collision object and Collision Depth is the thickness of the cloth. Play with these numbers as needed to get the results you want. The default settings are usually to high! Hit "ok" If you work with the default settings (30 frames), go to about frame 15 - 20 and add a pose to Maisie. I never apply the pose in the last (30th) frame. You will get nicer and smoother folds if you have some frames after the frame you added the pose. When the simulation is finished and the result is to smooth for your taste, you can always go a few frames back. - Click on "start simulation". It will take a bit time until the simulation will be done. How much time depends on you computer. If you are not satisfied with the result you have, you can play around with the fabric settings. Changes in the settings can give a large difference for the end result of the simulation. I often use different fabric settings for different poses. There is nothing like "best settings" for all poses. :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: I highly recommend using the morph brush for smoothing out sharp folds in dynamic clothes. You will find it in the editing tools (the small hand). Try changing the document display style to "smooth lines" and you can see, were the mesh of the clothes needs to be smoothed. The morph brush in Poser is an incredible useful tool. If you did not try it - check it out! :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Please have a look at your manual for further, detailed informations to get the best settings for the look you want. I hope you will have fun with this set :) Kerstin Weihe / karanta **************************************************************** ::::: Included Dress Morph :::::: Fit Lacey **************************************************************** Filelist: ..\Documentation\ Maisie_SweetSummer-karanta.txt Renderosity License.txt ..\Runtime\Geometries\karanta\MaisieSweetSummer\ KW_MaisieSwSumDress.obj ..\Runtime\Libraries\Materials\Maisie - karanta\Sweet Summer\ 00 default white.mc6 00 default white.png 01.mc6 01.png 02.mc6 02.png 03.mc6 03.png 04.mc6 04.png 05.mc6 05.png 06.mc6 06.png 07.mc6 07.png 08.mc6 08.png 09.mc6 09.png 10.mc6 10.png ..\Runtime\Libraries\Props\Maisie - karanta\Sweet Summer\ Sweet Summerdress.png Sweet Summerdress.pp2 ..\Runtime\Textures\Karanta\KW_MaisieSwSummer\ KW_MaisieSwSummer_B1.jpg KW_MaisieSwSummer_B2.jpg KW_MaisieSwSummer_T1.jpg KW_MaisieSwSummer_T10.jpg KW_MaisieSwSummer_T2.jpg KW_MaisieSwSummer_T3.jpg KW_MaisieSwSummer_T4.jpg KW_MaisieSwSummer_T5.jpg KW_MaisieSwSummer_T6.jpg KW_MaisieSwSummer_T7.jpg KW_MaisieSwSummer_T8.jpg KW_MaisieSwSummer_T9.jpg
