For using this product you need to have V4. The dress was tested with Poser 8 and higher. *********************************************************************************** Included in this set are: - 2 dress versions (smart prop / dynamic clothing) - higher and lower polygon amount - 18 Material settings (mc6/png) for the different style - 01 Material setting (mc6/png) for white default - 01 Material setting (mc6/png) for white + bump (try to change the diffuse color for simple styles) - 20 textures (bump included) - all 4096 x 4096 pixel =================================================================================================== Unzip all files to your Poser Runtime Directory. =================================================================================================== ::::::::::: Usage notes ::::::::::: Please follow these steps for your first clothing simulation, or have a look at your Poser manual if you are not familiar with the Cloth Room: Load V4 into your scene. - Click on the figure, then in the Menue on "Figure --> Use Inverse Kinematics" and make sure all is unchecked. - Click on "Figure", select V4 and click on "Zero Figure" - Open your props library and load the dress into your scene. The dress with lower polygon amount is meant to be used for simple standing poses or for figures in the background. - Open the Cloth Room and click on "New simulation" - You can leave the setting as they are or if you just want to make a quicker try - lower the end frame for example to 15. - Click on "ok" - Click Clothify and choose the dress - it will be listed under props - then hit Clothify to exit the dialog box. Select Collide Against, then Add/Remove, and choose V4. (The simulation will be quicker if you uncheck all bodyparts which will not affect the cloth) Hit "ok". Back in the Collide Against dialog, make sure that the 'Current Collision Object' has V4 displayed. You may want to enable the 'Start draping from zero pose' option. Quick hint on Collide settings: Collision Offset is the distance of the cloth from the collision object and Collision Depth is the thickness of the cloth. Play with these numbers as needed to get the results you want. Numbers between "0.2" and "0.5" work usually a lot better than the default "1" Hit "ok" If you work with the default settings (30 frames), go to about frame 15 - 20 and add a pose to V4. I never apply the pose in the last (30th) frame. You will get nicer and smoother folds if you have some frames after the frame you added the pose. - Click on "start simulation". If you are not satisfied with the result you have, you can play around with the fabric settings. Changes in the settings can give a large difference for the end result of the simulation. Please have a look at your manual for further, detailed informations to get the best settings for the look you want. If you use one of the newer Poser versions I highly recommend using the morph brush (the little hand in the editing tool tab) to make the folds smoother. You can even make the dress longer or shorter with the "Sag" brush in combination with the "Smooth" brush. I hope you will have fun with this set :) Kerstin Weihe / karanta **************************************************************** Filelist: ..\Documentation\ Renderosity License.txt V4_Summerdress_karanta.txt ..\Runtime\Geometries\Karanta\KW17_V4SumDress\ KW17_V4SumDress_HR.obj KW17_V4SumDress_LR.obj ..\Runtime\Libraries\Materials\Clothing\karanta - V4\V4 Summerdress\ 00 white + bump.mc6 00 white + bump.png 00 white default.mc6 00 white default.png 01a.mc6 01a.png 01b.mc6 01b.png 01c.mc6 01c.png 02a.mc6 02a.png 02b.mc6 02b.png 02c.mc6 02c.png 03a.mc6 03a.png 03b.mc6 03b.png 03c.mc6 03c.png 04a.mc6 04a.png 04b.mc6 04b.png 04c.mc6 04c.png 05a.mc6 05a.png 05b.mc6 05b.png 05c.mc6 05c.png 06a.mc6 06a.png 06b.mc6 06b.png 06c.mc6 06c.png ..\Runtime\Libraries\Props\Clothing\V4 - karanta\Summerdress\ Summerdress V4 HighRes.png Summerdress V4 HighRes.pp2 Summerdress V4 LowRes.png Summerdress V4 LowRes.pp2 ..\Runtime\Textures\Karanta\KW17_V4Summerdress\ KW17_V4Summerdress_B1.jpg KW17_V4Summerdress_T1.jpg KW17_V4Summerdress_T1b.jpg KW17_V4Summerdress_T1c.jpg KW17_V4Summerdress_T2.jpg KW17_V4Summerdress_T2b.jpg KW17_V4Summerdress_T2c.jpg KW17_V4Summerdress_T3.jpg KW17_V4Summerdress_T3b.jpg KW17_V4Summerdress_T3c.jpg KW17_V4Summerdress_T4.jpg KW17_V4Summerdress_T4b.jpg KW17_V4Summerdress_T4c.jpg KW17_V4Summerdress_T5.jpg KW17_V4Summerdress_T5b.jpg KW17_V4Summerdress_T5c.jpg KW17_V4Summerdress_T6.jpg KW17_V4Summerdress_T6b.jpg KW17_V4Summerdress_T6c.jpg
