No Mac support is provided. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Installation Instructions: Extract the zip-archive with your zip program: - there are now several commercial and free archive/extraction programs on the market, so please refer to that application's user manual in case of trouble. - Open WinZip and press the button "Extract". - DAZ Users: In the window folders/drives, select the folder that contains your Runtime folder (e.g. "C:\Program Files\DAZ\Studio\content\", "C:\Users\\Documents\DAZ 3D\Studio 3\content\", any other 'base' Studio installation, or wherever you may keep your content.) - The check box "Use Folder names" must be checked to ensure all files will be placed in the correct path. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Usage Tips or Limitations: Convert It! - Hair is a quick click tool you can use to convert most of your favorite Poser, DS3 or G2F/G2M hair textures to Iray. These shaders are designed to easily convert hair to Iray without overwriting the hair's original material files. Designed to be a robust solution to converting hair textures to Iray, they are not intended to identically replicate the way the original material settings look in other programs (such as Poser). Depending on the look you are trying to achieve, minor adjustments may be necessary. Vendors, this product is a merchant resource, and you are free to use the node setups as a starting point for your own textures. Usage Instructions: 1) In your Scene tab, make sure the hair you want to convert is selected. 2) Go to the Surfaces tab and use the arrow to see all the available material zones for the hair. 3) Select one or multiple material zones, then double click on the basic converter shader and adjust glossiness and opacity to your liking.
