It was developed in the early 1930s by Fedor Tokarev as a service pistol for the Soviet military to replace the Nagant M1895 revolver that had been in use since Tsarist times, though it ended up being used in conjunction with rather than replacing the M1895. It served until 1952, when it was replaced by the Makarov pistol. Inspiration for title promo picture is taken from famous photography of soviet junior political officer armed with a Tokarev TT-33 Service Pistol urges Soviet troops forward against German positions during World War II. The picture is allegedly of political officer Alexey Gordeevich Yeremenko, who have been killed within minutes of this photograph being taken. You will find the items in Camera, Characters, Poses and Props folders named Cybertenko/Pistolet Tokareva. Geometries, Textures and Reflection Maps are stored in respective folders. -------------------------------------- Usage Tips or Limitations: Tokarev TT-33 Pistol is made as poser erc figure model. There most of internal parts included and rigged so model will simulate cycling process. This can be controll via erc dials in body. There are two material zones -for metal parts and for thegrips - for each you can apply any of four material variants. There are two types of materials - specular based materials suitable for poser 7-10 and pbr materials suitable for poser 11 and other pbr rendering aplications. In poser 11 these can be used either with firefly or superfly rendering engines. Additional props like holster, pistol in holster and magazine in holster are made only with specualr mats but you move pbr materials into them manually. Character setup: Load human figure and gun figure and apply TT-33 in M4RH(V4RH). Parent pistol figure to figure´s right hand. Apply muzzle flash prop (superfly or firefly variant) and or mat poses. Select character figure and apply any of full body poses. If you will use any of third party poses, apply hand poses to get proper gun grip. Lanyard setup: Lanyard is strap for securing gun to belt or belt holster. Use either provided easy pose dials to pose the belt or use included ik chain to parent last link to gun and the lanyard will copy the movement of pistol. In this case you need adjust lanyard figure to side of human figure and parent it (figure parent) to character´s abdomen. Than switch IK chain ON and parent last link to gun frame body part. You than need to move - drag this last link to a gun so the carabine will be locked into frame loop. after applying the pose you may need adjust some belt loops and relax some sharp bends. Additional tips and guides for using the model you will find on promo pictures. Model is completely UV mapped. For certain parts of models are provided texture templates, other material zones are textured by procedural materials or by tiled textures and templates are not applicable for them. Tiled textures and procedural materials may need adjustments in DAZ studio, Carrara or other 3d applications. All poser props have extracted geometry to obj. mesh files which you can use for importing to other modeling or rendering application.
