Dugan --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --Who can't use more gems in their digital paint arsenal? --Well, I have more gems for you...in the form of embedded gem PS Layer Styles that come in a variety of beautiful Autumn colors-some of which are stroked with silver and gold! --Fellow Designers & Artists: Create beautiful jeweled Autumn gem embellishmentss, alphas, frames, nail-art, charms, text, clothing trims and jewelry with just "one click" of these layer styles! --This set, created for Photoshop 7 & Above includes a variety of 24 jewel embedded autumn-color-themed layer styles which are a great tool for 2D and 3D artists as well. --Like my other gem styles, these are completely adjustable. They were designed with 300 dpi seamless patterns inside each style so that you can scale them up or down in size. You will find quick text instructions for how to do this inside the enclosed "ReadMe" text file. --Use them as fills for gemstone shapes, brushes or other layers. Then, add gold or colored metallic settings around them. Make a matching chain and you have an instant bracelet or necklace! Try some matching gem earrings too. Use them on buttons, cuffs, even accent shoes with the new Autumn gem buckles you create! Unzip and extract these styles (.asl file) into whereever you keep your Adobe/Photoshop 7, CS (or Photoshop CS2)/Presets/Styles directory. 2. Open Photoshop. 3. If you don't already have your Styles window visible, click on "Window" and then "Styles" 4. In your "Styles" Window, click on the little triangle in a circle, that's pointing to the right. (located in the upper right hand corner below the "open/close") of the styles box 5. Select "Load Styles" from the Drop Down Box 6. Locate and Choose/highlight/load: the ".asl" (styles file) from your Styles folder 7. Apply to your layer with one click! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Usage Tips/Special Instructions Quickie Re-Scaling Instructions: "How To Re-Scale/Adjust Layer Styles for Any Size Image in Photoshop" 1) To scale your layer effects go to (menu) Layer > Layer Style > Scale Effects. Or you can access this command from the Layers palette by right-clicking on the small layer effects symbol (looks like an f) on your layer, then choosing the Scale Effects command. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2) When you choose Scale Effects, the dialog box "Scale Layer Effects" will appear. You can reduce the scale down as low as 1% to make the effects smaller, or increase the scale up to 1000% to make the effects larger.
