Telogreika (body warmer) is a Russian kind of warm cotton wool-padded jacket. It was also a part of winter uniform first issued by the Red Army during World War II. Telogreikas continued to be issued until the late 1960s.The telogreika was particularly effective at keeping the wearer warm in the harsh Russian Winter. When worn with valenki and an ushanka a wearer can comfortably remain warm in sub-zero temperatures for long periods. This made it the perfect uniform not just for the Red Army, but for both prisoners and guards of the Gulags.Valenki are traditional Russian winter footwear, essentially felt boots: the name valenok literally means "made by felting". Valenki are made of wool felt. They are not water-resistant, and are often worn with galoshes to keep water out and protect the soles from wear and tear. Valenki were once the footwear of choice for many Russians, but in the second half of the 20th century they lost most of their appeal in cities, due to their association with rustic dress. A ushanka is a Russian fur cap with ear flaps that can be tied up to the crown of the cap, or fastened at the chin to protect the ears, jaw and lower chin from the cold. An alternate manner is to bend the flaps back and tie them behind the head, this offers less protection from the elements, but much better visibility. The dense fur also offers some protection against blunt impacts to the head.The word ushanka derives from ushi - ears in Russian. Ownership Statement: All of this product's content was created by Robert Blanda. Installation Instructions: Poser: Unzip into any poser runtime. You will find the items in Character, Pose and Props folders named Cybertenko/Red Army. Geometries, Textures and Reflection Maps are stored in respective folders. Some files are common for all Red Army series and if installed into same runtime you may need to overwrite older ones. -------------------------------------- Usage Tips or Limitations: Conform clothing figures to base Michael 4 Figure. Apply any morphs if needed. Load smart props and adjust its position if needed. Special three finger shooter glove have only three bone fingers, some of them have only two links. In orter to better fit onto normal M4 hand use fixing pose to hide hand beneath the glove. In Ushanka Flaps down is morph to fit under helmet. On vatniki pants are morph to fit under valenki boots and sapogi boots. Sapogi boots are not included, only frozen textures to them. Additional tips and guides for using the model you will find on promo pictures. Model is completely UV mapped. Tiled textures and procedural materials may need adjustments in DAZ studio, Carrara or other 3d applications.
