Directions:
Extract the files into the specified folders:
Put the dsf file into \data\VanishingPoint\CanalTown\CanalTown\
Put the duf/ png (prop) into \Props\VanishingPoint\CanalTown\
Put the duf/ png (cameras) into \Props\VanishingPoint\CanalTown\Cameras\
Put the bmp files (templates) into \Runtime\Templates\
Put the jpg files (textures) into \Runtime\Textures\VP\canaltown\

Notes:
1) The bmp files are not used on the model: they are included in case you want to make your own textures.

Using the model:
1) Start DAZ Studio.
2) Go to the DAZ Content > Props > Vanishing Point > AbbeyRuins Library.
3) Add the model to your scene.
4) Add people to your scene to suit your taste.
5) Pose the people to suit your taste: either standing or walking.

Notes:
The sidewalks are at ground level, so make sure to turn the Ground Plane off.

Camera files are included:
-You can use these camera files to render the scene or use them as starting points.

This model includes 87 texture and normal/ bump maps. Poser or your computer may run slow depending on your available system memory.
The water material includes reflection and anisotropic for added realism, but this may increase your render times.

Hints:
To make a larger city, copy and paste (or duplicate) the model and rotate and move it until the water lines up. Then hide or show the island/ buildings as needed.

Experiment with different water effects...
Apply your own material preset.
Try increasing the reflection value.
Increase the bump map strength or displacement map strength to create choppy water.
Remove the texture and bump/ displacement map and change the object color to solid blue/ green to create smooth water.

You are free to use the enclosed template files to make your own textures. You are free to redistribute your own textures as you wish, provided they do not use any images found in this zip file.
