For using this set you need to have Poser 8 or higher and Victoria 4 from Daz. =================================================================================================== Included in this set are: - Dress - 14 Material settings (mc6) - 31 Textures The clothing item has an external obj file in the geometries folder. =================================================================================================== Unzip all files to your Poser Runtime Directory. ::::::::::: Usage notes ::::::::::: Please follow these steps for your first clothing simulation, or have a look at your Poser manual if you are not familiar with the Cloth Room. ::::::::::::::::::: Load V4 into your scene: - Click on V4, then in the Menue on "Figure --> Use Inverse Kinematics" and make sure all is unchecked. - Click on "Figure", select the V4 and click on "Zero Figure" - Open your props library and load the cloth / clothes into your scene. - Open the Cloth Room and click on "New simulation" - You can leave the setting as they are or change them for your needs. - Make sure "cloth self-collision" is checked - Click on "ok" - Click Clothify and choose the cloth / clothes. It will be listed under props - then hit Clothify to exit the dialog box. Select Collide Against, then Add/Remove, and choose V4. (The simulation will be quicker if you only check the bodyparts which will be affected by the cloth) Hit "ok". Back in the Collide Against dialog, make sure that the 'Current Collision Object' has V4 displayed. You may want to enable the 'Start draping from zero pose' option. Quick hint on Collide settings: Collision Offset is the distance of the cloth from the collision object and Collision Depth is the thickness of the cloth. Play with these numbers as needed to get the results you want. The default "1.0" is usually way to high. Try something between 0.2 and 0.5 instead. Hit "ok" If you work with the default settings (30 frames), go to about frame 15 - 20 and add a pose to V4. I never apply the pose in the last (30th) frame. You will get nicer and smoother folds if you have some frames after the frame you added the pose. When the simulation is finished and the result is not to your taste, you can always go a few frames back. - Click on "start simulation". If you are not satisfied with the result you have, you can play around with the fabric settings. Changes in the settings can give a large difference for the end result of the simulation. I often use different fabric settings for different poses. There is nothing like "best settings" for all poses. Please have a look at your manual for further, detailed informations about the cloth room. ::::::::::::::::::: I highly recommend using the Poser morph brush after your simulation if neccessary. With dynamic clothes you will sometimes have wrinkles, sharp folds or strange looking areas which need a little bit of work with the morph brush! It may be sometimes necessary to add a small constrained group to the collar parts of the dress for some poses. I did not use constrained groups for the promo images. ::::::::::::::::::: I hope you will have fun with this set :) Kerstin Weihe / karanta **************************************************************** Product list: ..\Documentation\ Renderosity License.txt V4 Leandra Dress karanta.txt ..\Runtime\Geometries\karanta\V4\ karanta_V4_Leandra_Dress_19.obj ..\Runtime\Libraries\Materials\Karanta\V4 Leandra Dress\ 01.mc6 01.png 02.mc6 02.png 03.mc6 03.png 04.mc6 04.png 05.mc6 05.png 06.mc6 06.png 07.mc6 07.png 08.mc6 08.png 09.mc6 09.png 10.mc6 10.png 11.mc6 11.png 12.mc6 12.png 13.mc6 13.png 14.mc6 14.png ..\Runtime\Libraries\Props\Karanta\V4\ Leandra Dress.png Leandra Dress.pp2 ..\Runtime\Textures\Karanta\karanta_LeandraDr19\ KW_AFGRN24.png KW_AFGRN24BM.png KW_AFGRN37.png KW_AFGRN37BM.png KW_DM_Silk_001.jpg KW_DM_Silk_001_TR.jpg KW_DM_Silk_018.jpg KW_DM_Silk_018_TR.jpg KW_FTGLIT001.png KW_FTGLIT012.png KW_FTGLIT077.png KW_FTGLIT_TR.png KW_MMRD_001.png KW_MMRD_001BM.png KW_MMRD_001TR.png KW_Merm_Refl.jpg KW_SCRM01.png KW_SCRM_DM.png KW_Silk002.jpg KW_Silk007.jpg KW_Silk022.jpg KW_Silk097.jpg KW_pdom-Asian01.jpg KW_pdom-ClothWeave.jpg KW_pdom-DChinese4Spec.jpg KW_pdom-Floral1c.jpg KW_pdom-Floral4b.jpg KW_pdom-Reflect01.jpg KW_pdom-Scales2.jpg KW_pdom-Scales2Bump.jpg KW_pdom-Scales2Gold.jpg
