Install the Zips in the following path: This PC > Local Disk (C) > Users > Public > Public Documents > My DAZ 3D Library All Hair files are located within the Tab > Content Library. next click on DAZ Studio Formats within there choose this runtime directory > My DAZ 3D Library > People > Genesis 8 Female > Hair > Biscuits > Biscuits Gili Hair -------------------------------------- Usage Tips or Limitations: _________________________________________________________Daz Studio Tips_________________________________________________________ The Gamma on the transparency image mask should be 1, however if you like a more fluffy thin or a more thick look you can try change the values, experiment! --- Select the Hair first if you want to apply a haircolor. --- How to fit the hair to other heads: Autofit works on this hair, so if you dial in the Girl 8 the hair follows the new shape. Now if you want to fit the hair on other characters than G8F: Use the hair offset morphs that come with the hair. And/or Translate into position, scale with fullscale, x-scale, yscale and zscale. Adjust until everything fits. Parent the hair to the head. Select your figure within the scene tab and right click and choose expand > expand from selected. Next scroll down until you reach the head of the figure and below the head you need to drag the Hair. Once you have the Hair selected within the scene tab you can play with the morphs of the Hair within the Parameter Tab. --- The Morphs have limitations! It's not possible to predict what each morph or combination does in a certain pose or with a certain character. Some morphs or combinations will give unexpected results. Try to experiment with morph combinations. Some dials even show good results when overdialed or used with negative values. Experiment and have fun with the dials! If Morphs give pokethrough, try to dial them lower. Keep these limitations in mind for morphs please. --- TIPS IN DS Select your figure's head first *before* loading the hair. Make sure that all of the files are placed in the correct directories within your DAZ Studio directory. This is the Path to the Default DAZ Studio Directory: C:\Users\Public\Documents\My DAZ 3D Library All Files in the "Textures" -folder go into: \Runtime\Textures\Biscuits\Hairmaps\ Note that the Texture folder has the following structure: Biscuits\Hairmaps\ Which means if you have multiple of my hairmodels, they all take the default haircolors jpgs/pngs out of that folder. With every new hair you can overwrite those.
