Dugan ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ --The perfect combination of plaids and foils to apply to your shapes, brush layers, border, frames, elements, alphas, etc.! --This is a variety of 24 PS layer styles with different holiday color-themed seamless plaid patterns and foils inside (created at 300 dpi). All are stroked with either gold or silver outlines. --I had so much fun creating these styles and even more when applying them to different layers so that you can see the different outcomes. --If you decide to use these on smaller items, you may need to adjust the stroke and/or the patterns to smaller percentage sizes. You can also keep or delete the drop shadow. --But that's what layer styles so amazing! They can always be adjusted to match your particular taste or the project. --Click on the tunmbnails to see all kinds of items that I applied these styles to. They work really well on Christmas trees, gifts, bells, poinsettias, bows, etc. --These styles have been tested in Photoshop 7, Photoshop CS and Above as well as Photoshop CC 2019. --There are tips inside the Readme file about how to scale your styles to the size you desire. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This package was created for PC. Unzip and extract these styles (.asl file) into whereever you keep your Adobe/Photoshop CS (or Photoshop CS2)/Presets/Styles directory. 2. Open Photoshop. 3. If you don't already have your Styles window visible, click on "Window" and then "Styles" 4. In your "Styles" Window, click on the little triangle in a circle, that's pointing to the right. (located in the upper right hand corner below the "open/close") of the styles box 5. Select "Load Styles" from the Drop Down Box 6. Locate and Choose/highlight/load the desired .asl file(s) (.asl file=layer styles extension) into your Photoshop Styles Tool Palette 7. Apply to your layer with one click! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Usage Tips/Special Instructions Quickie Re-Scaling Instructions: "How To Re-Scale/Adjust Layer Styles for Any Size Image in Photoshop" 1) To scale your layer effects go to (menu) Layer > Layer Style > Scale Effects. Or you can access this command from the Layers palette by right-clicking on the small layer effects symbol (looks like an f) on your layer, then choosing the Scale Effects command. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2) When you choose Scale Effects, the dialog box "Scale Layer Effects" will appear. You can reduce the scale down as low as 1% to make the effects smaller, or increase the scale up to 1000% to make the effects larger.
