Dugan of Color Palette Designs ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SAKURA: "Cherry Blossom" and "Sakura" A cherry blossom is a flower of many trees of genus Prunus. The most well-known species is the Japanese cherry, Prunus serrulata, which is commonly called Sakura (桜 or 櫻; さくら). They are widely distributed, especially in the temperate zone of the Northern Hemisphere including Japan, Taiwan, Korea, Mainland China, Nepal, India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iran, Myanmar, Thailand and West Siberia. Along with the chrysanthemum, the cherry blossom is considered the national flower of Japan. The cherry blossom or Sakura is often said to symbolize "New Beginnings." It blooms in the Springtime only in the USA-a popular appearing as beautiful rows of trees line the streets of the nation's capitol: Washington, DC. Once the blooms detach from the stems they will float for a very short time in the spring breeze and are then gone forever. --Beautiful cherry blossoms and symbols of Japan were chosen for this set of 20 seamless textures/tiles/patterns. Each texture is 300 dpi meaning, they can be used for printing or the web. --All images were digitally hand-painted by myself and measure 1200 pixels by 1200 pixels each. --Clicking on the thumbnails will show you swatches of each seamless texture as well as some styled examples of images to give you a closer look at more. Most images are shown with the textures 50% of size. (at least) --Since each texture was created in .png file format, new beginning/Spring seamless beauties can be used in any image editing program that accepts/edits .png files! --Try them as pattern fills for side or top borders, alphas, frames, shapes, clothing, wallpaper, text and brush layers. --This pack also includes a .pat file of all 20 seamless Sakura patterns so you can install them directly into your Photoshop pattern folder, if you use Photoshop CC. (optional) --These are perfect for creating all kinds of Sakura patterned extras for your 2D renders and 3D characters and are a merchant resource.
