Dugan of Color Palette Designs ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SAKURA: "Cherry Blossom" and "Sakura" A cherry blossom is a flower of many trees of genus Prunus. The most well-known species is the Japanese cherry, Prunus serrulata, which is commonly called Sakura (桜 or 櫻; さくら). They are widely distributed, especially in the temperate zone of the Northern Hemisphere including Japan, Taiwan, Korea, Mainland China, Nepal, India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iran, Myanmar, Thailand and West Siberia. Along with the chrysanthemum, the cherry blossom is considered the national flower of Japan. The cherry blossom or Sakura is often said to symbolize "New Beginnings." It blooms in the Springtime only in the USA-a popular appearing as beautiful rows of trees line the streets of the nation's capitol: Washington, DC. Once the blooms detach from the stems they will float for a very short time in the spring breeze and are then gone forever. --------------------------------------------------------------- --Beautiful cherry blossoms and assorted symbols of Japan were chosen for this set of 24 Photoshop Layer Styles. Each style is 300 dpi meaning, they can be used for printing or the web. --All images were digitally hand-painted by myself and have seamless Sakura patterns measuring 1200 pixels by 1200 pixels each inserted inside. This larger size makes your styles even more adjustable for your layered creations! --Clicking on the thumbnails will show you swatches of each layer style as well as some styled examples of images to give you a closer look at more. Most images are shown with the layer styles at 50% of size. (at least) --These are a set of 24 PS layer styles that you get in one .asl file for Photoshop only! They have been tested and will work in Photoshop 7 and Above, Photoshop CS and Above as well as Photoshop CC 2019 and 2020. Many of the styles have the same textures inside as the SAKURA seamless textures set but there are a few new ones added. --Just remember that PS Layer Styles have much more inside than a texture! There are shadows, light, gradients, strokes, bevels, sizing, etc. all added by myself. That's why they are often called "one-click" wonders! (I have done almost all the work for you-unless you prefer to make adjustments) --Try them as side or top borders, alphas, frames, shapes, clothing, wallpaper, text and brush layers. Your imagination is the only think that might limit you. --These are perfect for creating all kinds of Sakura patterned extras for your 2D renders and 3D characters and are a design resource. Open Photoshop, go to Presets folder and click the above drop down box to "layer styles."
