With Growing Up Thoroughbred your colt or filly will be in top racing form condition from the farm to the finish line. Thoroughbred champions aren't born - they are made. It is only through top form conditioning, training, perseverance, and patience, combined with good bloodlines and the chance of a lifetime that legends take form. Growing up Thoroughbred for the HiveWire Thoroughbred and Foal comes with six Property Form Morphs. Included are four adult racing forms, one juvenile form, and one foal form, plus a preset to restore the Thoroughbred Base. Put your filly or colt in top condition, from the farm to the Melbourne Cup, Kentucky Derby, Royal Ascot, Queen's Plate, or Dubai World Cup. The product includes forms for leggy racer types like Man-O-War and Zenyatta, heavy racer types like California Chrome, American Pharoah, and Secretariat, lite form racers such as Phar Lap and Black Caviar, and lite form compact racers like Birdstone and Awesome Gem. Also included are the foal and juvenile forms for those cute thoroughbred farm images. You can use the morphs with different coat textures to create different breeds. Among these are Hunter Jumper types, American Saddlebred, Akhel Teke breeds, and elegantly graceful Unicorns and Pegai. Information on how to create these combinations is included in the ReadMe file. Also includes instructions on using with the HiveWire Western Tack and Classic Tack, and with Racehorse Tack for the HiveWire Horse. What's Included and Features: Properties (.duf) 6 Property Form Morphs for the Hivewire Thoroughbred Heavy Racer Lite Racer Lite Racer 2 Leggy Racer Juvenile Foal Thoroughbred Base Restore The Growing Up Throughbred Form Morphs (GTFM) should work with most poses and with Tack products made for the HiveWire Horse. Some adjustments may be needed to the legs and neck, as they are longer than the base. They should also work on Winged Horse for the HW Horse (by Ken Gilliland and CWRW, at HiveWire 3D). Scaling may be required on the wings. NOTE: Some poses have scaling saved with the pose, which will affect how the GTFM will look when that scaled pose is applied. Always start by loading the HiveWire Thoroughbred, then follow these steps, depending on whether you are using the GTFM alone, or with particular Tack Products. If you change your pose after applying these steps, you may need to re-apply the chosen GTFM. There is also a preset to return to the Thoroughbred Breed. USING WITHOUT Tack: 1. Apply the pose you wish to use 2. Apply the desired GTFM to the posed model USING WITH Tack: The below instructions should work for all of the GTFM, except the foal, with a few minor adjustments: USING WITH Racehorse Tack for the HiveWire Horse (by Ken Gilliland at HiveWire 3D): 1. Apply the desired GTFM 2. Make sure the model is selected and load the Saddle and Blinkers. You may have to adjust the girth setting with the parameter dials. 3. The blinkers will not have a perfect fit - to correct this issue A. Go to the Scene Tab and select the HW Racing Blinkers. B. Select the first drop-down menu on the top right of the Scene tab C. Select "Edit" > "Geometry" > "Apply Smoothing Modifier" D. To fix any pokethru, adjust "Smoothing Iterations" (on the right side of the Parameters tab) until proper fit is reached (value between 50 and 125). Wait for the setting to apply. 4. Load the Racehorse Tack Bridle 5. If the Racing Tack Bridle is fit to the horse using the GTFM, the bottom portion of the reins near the bit tend to bunch up. To correct this: A. Deselect the horse and load the Racing Tack Bridle. B. Parent the Bridle to the Horse's Head. 1. Select the Bridle, right click, select "Change HW Racing Tack Bridle Parent" 2. Scroll to "HiveWire Horse > head" in the Change Parent Menu to parent the Bridle to the Horse's head and eliminate the bunching on the bottom of the reins. C. Select the Bridle and use the translation tool to place it in the correct postion on the head. D. Use the Bridle adjustment dials to get the correct fit on the Bridle 6. Heavy Racer Settings: A. Head Piece Out - 0.27 B. Head Piece 2 - 2.00 (increase the max limit for this - click the clog on the right side of the dial, choose "Parameter Settings" to bring up the dialog box) C. Throat Latch Widen - 1.00 D. Throat Latch Out - 0.55 E. Bit Forward - 1.17 (you may have to increase the max limits for this also) F. Bit up Down 0.21 7. Pose the model and reapply the GTFM. USING WITH Classic Tack or Western Tack for the HiveWire Horse (from HiveWire 3D): 1. Apply the desired GTFM 2. Load the Tack 3. When Using the Bridle, you may have to adjust the length: A. Select the cheek straps on the Bridle B. In the Parameters Tab, use the Z scale to achieve the length you need for proper bit placement, then bend if needed. C. Select the Throat Latch on the Tack and Scale to desired setting. For the Heavy Racer, adjust the Y scale. For the Juvenile and Light Racer, you may need to adjust the X and Y Scale and bend if needed. D. Adjust the reins 1. Classic Tack: use the Rein Adjustment Dials - Bend, Length, Relax, and Widen 2. Western Tack: use the All Together Dial Setting or Rein Bend All setting E. Western Tack: If using the Heavy Racer, adjust the Front Pivot Twist dial on the Saddle to about 2.50, to prevent it from going through the blanket 4. Pose the model and reapply the GTFM. When using the Dusk and Dawn poses included with the Classic Tack and Western Tack sets, you may need to make Dawn or Dusk's legs wider (using the rotation controls) so that they do not collide with the horse or saddle. You may also need to lengthen/widen the reins so that they reach the hands correctly.
