You can then dial up any of the dials as desired. REM will remove the dials, but not the category -------------------------------------- The Catula is a strange creature indeed. A beast with eyes like saucers and teeth like pearls so bright they glint and hint of stranger things neath the velvet night. Catula for the HiveWire House Cat will take your pretty kitty to new and strange heights wether it be at home around the fireplace curled up next to Sora, in the depths of exotic jungles, or in the castles of Romania. Your renders will be chocked full of fun and adventure even in cartoon style. Catula comes with two full body morphs, three different face morphs, and three cartoon big eye options much like your Ty Beanie Baby style. Also included are four expression poses and return to base poses for full body, body only and head only. Head and body morphs can be mixed with the cat base, but some minor adjustments may have to be made for smooth lines to the neck. The LAMH Presets for the HiveWire House Cat By Saiyaness will also work with the morphs if you perfer your Catula to be furry! NOTE: Some poses have scaling saved with the pose, which will affect how the form will look when that scaled pose is applied. Always start by loading the HiveWire House Cat, then follow these steps. STEPS FOR APPLYING MORPHS 1. Apply the pose you wish to use 2. Apply the desired Catula morph to the posed model If you change your pose after applying these steps, you may need to re-apply the chosen morph. There are also presets to return to the Hivewire House Cat base body, base head, or full base. WHEN USING THE HISS POSE WITH BIG EYE MORPH 1. Apply the hiss pose and then apply the big eye option if you intend on using it, otherwise, the big eye property will not appear when the pose is applied. 2. Always Zero Out your expression before appling a new pose or eye property. 3. When using BIG EYE Pose 2 the pupils are round and will not revert to slit style pupils until the face property is reapplied. WHEN USING SMALL PUPIL POSE 1. This pose is intended to be used with the big eye morphs, however, if you wish to use it on the base or non big eye morphs it will cause the pupils to be invisible or very small. If this is not a look you desire, then use the pose only with the big eye property morphs. WHEN USING HISS AND SNARL DIALS 1. Some adjustments may need to be made to the teeth length as they are longer than the base and this may not be a look you wish to have. 2. The His and Snarl base cat dials will affect the eyes to correct this you may need to adjust the parameter dials for cheek fullness, eyes iris size, eyes iris large, and eyes iris small dials, or select the eyeball go to properties and in the general transforms reduce scale to 94.5. 3. You also will need to rotate the ears if they are flattened in some poses as some shadowing may occur in renders. You can do this two ways. 1. Use the rotation control dial on the ear to rotate them out or to a desired position 2. Reapply the face morph FANGS OUT 1. To achieve the fangs out look select the cat head and go to Parameters, General Transforms and gradually increase the Z scale until you have them visible over the lower jaw. The teeth are not independent of the head in the model so you have to scale the whole head. This will affect how the jaw closes from the side but you should be able to make adjustments using the mouth corner dials and adjusting the Y and Z scale on the lower jaw for a proper closure. This will also affect how the eyes look to some degree images are shown with the fangs out option in the promo images. 2. Best Z Scale settings for each of the faces are as follows A. Face01 - 105.5 B. Face02 - 106.6 C. Face03 - 103.5 3. On dark colored coats such as the black cat coat and black panther coat the whiskers are a light color and this will affect how the white teeth appear in renders making them look washing them out. So you may wish to dial down their opacity setting. To do this follow these steps. 1. Go to Actors, Wardrobe, and Props 2. Select the Surfaces (Color) Tab 3. Select 01_Whiskers 4. Scroll down to Opacity or Cut Out Opacity for Iray 5.
