Pictures take up about 96 MB. COMMENTS: Formerly at YURdigital and Hivewire3D. A rather generic field with mostly generic fences. Good for Medieval encampment or a building, or a battle. Or for a herd of alien cows in with the local ones. Whatever! The pictures are all as taken. I edited nothing. This is a cow pasture about a mile from my home. It was bordered by their house on one side, by the highway on a second side and by woods or brush on the other two sides. I only am including pictures showing the woods and brush sides. I tried to get as much variety into the pictures as I could, given that it was such a small field. We were there cutting the downed wood. The owners tend to have a varied collection of animals, which changes every year. This time, they had Texas long horns and water buffalo. The animals were very large, very curious, and very friendly. Among the pictures I didn't include in this package was one of a longhorn from way too close while it was trying to find out what I was. (I couldn't move back any further.) My main job, besides helping to load wood and help with the gates, was to keep the long horns and water buffalo from sneaking up on the guy with the chainsaw, usually from behind. At least none of them climbed into the truck with us, like the goat did the previous time we'd cut wood there. Do enjoy! Bright blessings on all your artistic creations! ***** When using 2D backgrounds in Poser, Daz Studio or Photoshop, remember that the light in the photo is the way the light in the photo is going to be. You'll want to match the direction, intensity, and color of the light on your characters and props. Using in Poser In Poser 10 (other Poser versions should be similar): File/Import/Background picture/browse to where you keep the photos. Poser hints: Turn ground plane off. Poser seems to render just the characters, so that you can make layers with shadows and background in an image editor program such as Photoshop. Move lights so the characters are lit the same as the background. Using in DAZ Studio: DAZ Studio 4.9 (64 bit) (other Daz Studio versions shouuld be similar): Windows/Panes/Environment/Browse to where you keep the photos. DAZ Studio hints: Shift the ground plane grid so that it matches the groundplane of the photo, so that the characters don't look like they're floating. Move lights so the characters are lit the same as the background. Digital photos are almost never completely sharp at the 100% size, which is why I provided such large pictures.
