The Victorian Spacecraft 3D model is a fully-rigged Poser figure, sized for Poser people, with a detailed cabin. FIGURE The Spacecraft Victoria figure has rocket engine and thruster flames (visible only when activated) and a full cabin with coordinated operating controls. The Victorian Spacecraft figure has ERC control at the Body level: o Throttle controls engine flame size o Three-axis yoke controls engine flame direction and roll thruster flames o Hatch unlatches and opens o Pilot seat rotates o 16 adjustable valve levers and wheels PROPS o Optional Skirt over tankage o Landing Legs o Ladder o Additional interior lantern POSES o M4 & V4 crew poses o HIDE/SHOW Cabin Side o Upright Landing Position o MATs - Default clean and new MAT - Worn MAT - Rusty MAT - Alternate Welsh MATs CAMERAS o Full camera sets positioned for easy viewing and rendering of the full Victorian Spacecraft ship - Includes main, auxiliary, left, right, top, bottom, front and back cameras o Individual Dolly camera interior views TEXTURES Image maps up to 4000x4000. I built the model from scratch, using Lloyd's image as a guide for most of the exterior and then added additional exterior details and features. I wanted the interior, which isn't visible in Lloyd's image, to resemble a plush Victorian sitting room, while still including an array of instruments appropriate to a spacecraft of the period. The pilot's seat is modeled after an antique barber chair and the passenger seat is inspired by Victorian settees. -------------------------------------- Installation Instructions: Unzip files to your main Poser directory, being sure to check "Use Folder Names" and the files will unpack to their proper location. Refer to the file list below for file locations. Components are found in the "Michael_C/Victorian Spacecraft" folder within each of the Poser sub-libraries (Figure, Pose, etc.). Note that although most of the Poser files may be moved to other locations, the geometries and textures MUST be in the listed locations. -------------------------------------- Usage Tips: The Victorian Spacecraft figure uses ERC controls at the Body level. For easy access to the controls the figure's Body loads selected by default. PARAMETER DIALS - The parameter dial groups load collapsed for convenience. Open a group or subgroup to use it. Transform These standard dials control rotation and position of the figure. The rotation dials are renamed Yaw, Pitch and Roll to reflect marine nomenclature. Resize - This dial changes the size of the entire figure. Control % Engine Power – Move the Thrust lever and turn on and increase the engine flame. Pitch CTL – Move the Control Yoke forward and change the engine flame vertical direction. Yaw CTL – Turn the Control Yoke and change the engine flame horizontal direction. Roll CTL – Rotate the Control Yoke, and turn on the corresponding roll thruster set flames. Miscel Unlatch and open the cabin hatch Rotate the pilot seat Valves - Change the 16 valve lever and wheel positions POSES Cabin Side HIDE/SHOW – Hide the cabin side for an interior view Landed Position – Orients the spacecraft to a vertical landed position (Landing Legs and Ladder prop set should be loaded for this position) Default Position – Restores the as-loaded flying Spacecraft orientation Crew Cabin pose sets are included for M4 and V4. Note that these poses are for the default as-loaded spacecraft position. Landed Poses – M4 and V4 poses on the ladder with the spacecraft in landed positions. MATs (In Poser the MAT poses also affect the Skirt, Landing legs and Ladder, if loaded.) - Default Victoria Regina MAT - Alternate Welsh flagged MAT - Worn versions of both - Rusty derelict MAT Lamp Light Poses to turn the cabin lamp off and on. There's a special pose to show the lamp on without emission (EM) - use this pose to eliminate "speckles" in lower quality Superfly renders. Superfly Only – Poses to brighten the cabin lamp emission value PROPS (All props are smart. Be sure the Victorian Spacecraft figure is selected when loading these props.) There are alternate Legs-Ladder sets Adj-Legs-Ladder – Prop set consists of Ladder and individually adjustable Landing Legs (select a leg to adjust its height) Legs-Ladder – Prop set consists of static Landing Legs assembly and Ladder Skirt – Painted fairing covers the engine tank assembly Extra An additional cabin lamp CAMERAS Flying Set - All the standard cameras are positioned to show the complete Victorian Spacecraft figure in its default loaded position. Landed Set - All the standard cameras are positioned to show the complete Victorian Spacecraft figure in its landed position. Cabin Dolly CAMs – Two interior views of the cabin MATERIALS Materials turn the extra cabin Lamp prop light on and off or increase its emissive value. (These affect the prop Lamp LampWick material the same way the Lamp MAT poses affect the as-loaded cabin lamp.) ------------------------------ -- DAZ Studio Compatibility - Tested in DAZ Studio 4.12 to the extent that parameter controls work as intended, poses apply correctly (see below for MAT poses), and figure renders satisfactorily. I've made no attempt to convert or optimize materials. The Victorian Spacecraft figure loads, operates, and renders in DAZ Studio. There are some incompatibilities as noted below. DAZ Studio uses different camera designations from Poser so the included camera presets don't all work. Those that work may require adjustment. In Poser the MAT files automatically affect the Skirt, Landing Leg and Ladder props if loaded.
