Its 76.2 mm high-velocity tank gun was more powerful than its contemporaries while its 60 degree sloped armour provided good protection against anti-tank weapons. The sloped armour and Christie suspension were inherited from the design of American J. Walter Christie's M1928 tank, versions of which were sold turret-less to the Red Army and documented as "farm tractors", after being rejected by the U.S. Army. The T-34 had a profound effect on the conflict on the Eastern Front in the Second World War, and had a lasting impact on tank design. The 76 mm tank gun M1940 F-34 was a 76.2 mm Soviet tank gun used on the T-34/76 tank. A modified version of the gun, the 76 mm tank gun M1941 ZiS-5, was used on KV-1 tanks during World War II. The F-34 was designed before the start of World War II by P. Muraviev of Vasiliy Grabin's design bureau at Factory No. 92 in Gorky. The gun was superior to both contemporary 76.2 mm guns, Gorky's F-32 and the Leningrad Kirov Factory's L-11, but it was the latter that had already been approved for the new T-34 medium tank. The initial T-34 Model 1940 with L-11 was in production when Germany invaded the Soviet Union. The L-11 76.2 mm tank gun was a Soviet tank gun, used on the earliest models of the T-34 Model 1940 medium tank and KV-1 Model 1939 heavy tank during World War II. You will find the items in Character, Pose and Props named Cybertenko/Ultimate T34/Turrets or /Main Guns. Geometries, Textures and Reflection Maps are stored in respective folders. This is standalone figure, and part of larger project which will included complete crew compartment and engine bay, several turret variants and large collection of external equipment. This is standalone item which means it will work as is. but you will get most of it with use of previous products in the series: Hull Exterior and Hull Interior, DT-MG and Maintenance Station. -------------------------------------- Usage Tips or Limitations: Model is made as sevral poser erc figures: Each turret variant and each gun variant are poser erc figures. Combine them as needed and parent gun to proper turret bodypart and turret figure to hull bodypart. For interior views there are dt magazines prop available... each for each turret variant so it will parent into it and both in pbr and specular variant. Further instructions you will find on promo imgaes.
