These are simple tiled materials (mt5) with bump maps, designed to be rendered in Firefly, but look great in Superfly as well. One set of plaids I marked as "Superfly only" because in Firefly they rendered with moire patterns, which you may not want. This is a Merchant Resource for you to use in coloring props and clothing, and as a base for your own fabric creations. (Hint, they are good for carpets, upholstery and walls if you play with the scaling.) One thing to remember--be sure you scale the bump maps to be the same as the Diffuse map-- unless you want stripes or an interesting effect with the bumping.(Which sometimes looks cool) Remember to save your new Mt5! It's really easy to forget if you are going from pattern to pattern.

Industrial Carpet--the diffuse is colored gray, but you can make it any color by changing the diffuse slot. If you hook up the Bump to the Displacement channel and set it around .05 you can get a really satisfying carpet out of it--the default on the floor is indeed the ugly gray stuff you see in offices with steel filing cabinets and florescent lights.

If you are coloring clothing and don't like how the tiles are mapping (sometimes they end up offset) try taking the tile directly from the Textures folder and manually apply it in the tricky parts, like on collar trim and around the shoulders, using the tools in Photoshop to warp or distort the pattern as needed to match the stretched polygons. For most things the parametric tiling will work well, but the grid-like patterns will instantly show you any odd or bent polygons in a model. The knits, solids and tie-dyes are much more forgiving of wonky polys.

Remember that you can use the bump maps under your own patterns! They are very generic and versatile. I made almost everything in here with Filter Forge filters, and the names of some of the patterns refer to the artist who created the filter. Some of the weirder ones were made with my own custom filters, and the UFO is my own design.

To install: Please point your zip file at where you keep your Poser 9,10,11 or 12 runtime, and unzip to there; it should look like
the same folder setup as the file list below. 

If you have a custom runtime, you should place folders by hand, and
preserve the folder names and nesting.

please don't redistribute the pattern designs as a stand-alone merchant resource--put them on clothes and props and then sell those as texture sets, or make derivative forms of the resources that have your own touch.
