Thank you for purchasing my SkinEdit Python script for Poser 12. 

Ever wanted to edit ALL the figure's skin MAT zones at once, instead of having to go 1-by-1 to apply the same settings? Ever wanted to convert complex old school Firefly shaders to Superfly with 1-click, while cleaning up the shaders and auto-creating missing maps like bump and specular? What about 1-click fixing all eye materials, so they render nicely in Superfly? This includes complete rebuilding materials for skin, inner mouth, eyelashes, nails, and eyes that not only look better in Superfly, but also render FASTER!

Most figures have lots of material zones, and it can be tiresome to manually edit them one at a time. Victoria 4 has like 14 just for the skin, and DawnSE has 9 for that as well. This means that if we want to edit just the skin materials on V4, we have to do it at least 14 times, and on DawnSE, 9 times. It’s not difficult, but it’s definitely tedious.

SkinEdit P12 streamlines the whole process by allowing editing supported figure materials in “batch” mode, meaning we edit whole sets of MAT zones at once, instead of one at a time. Supports Poser Surface and Physical Surface root nodes. 

Figure profile Maker\Editor to support other figures included, and it ships with its own PDF manual.

In order to work you must own Poser 12.0.396 or above. It will not work with older versions. In Poser, click Help > About Poser to see what version you have installed. The version is displayed on the bottom left corner.

Installation Instructions:

You can install this Python script in 2 different ways (requires Poser 12.0.396 or newer):

1. If you have the ZIP file: from Poser's main menu, choose File > Install from ZIP archive.
2. From Poser's built-in store: From the library's "Purchase" tab, click the "Renderosity" option. Now locate your purchased Python script tool, and click the respective "Install" button.

Once the script is installed, it will show it in Poser's main menu, from the Scripts menu.

Usage Tips:

* For figures not included in the profiles list, I have included a BONUS tool to create your own profiles, and it comes with its own PDF manual. Creating new figure profiles is not difficult, but it is also not trivial. Please make sure to read the manual first to get familiarized with the process. 

* Ken1171 Designs is not responsible for figure profiles created incorrectly. Incorrectly made profiles produces invalid data that might crash SkinEdit, so use it at your own risk. 

* Some figures may lack one or several of the expected MAT zones from more mainstream figures, so when you make your own figure profiles, results may vary. 

* The SkinEdit tool is a native Poser panel, and can be freely resized, positioned, and even docked into the Poser interface. It will remember it's last position, size, and docking state next time you launch it.

* You can open the PDF manual at any time by clicking the Help button from the interface. The included PDF manual explains everything in detail, so please read it first.
