Included in this product: - 1 main character containing 3 actors (fire, smoke, sparks); - A total of 14 geometry options for the main character (changing appearance of both fire, smoke and sparks). 3 geometries display initial state fire, and the other 11 are a frame by frame sequence of full fire; - 2 smart props representing a wood log base, one in square format, the other in round shape. - The wood logs props have: 8 texture images for color, ior, metalness, normal, roughness, specular, specular color, specular tint. Template texture included; - Texture images are in PNG format, resolution 2048 x 2048 pixels; - For the wood log props: material nodes included for Poser Surface (Firefly), Physical and Cycles Surface (Superfly); - For the main character (fire, smoke, sparks): material nodes included ONLY for Cycles Surface (Superfly). You must render using SUPERFLY engine to see fire/smoke/sparks; How to use: From the character library, open "EV-Bonfire" by double clicking on it, or drag/drop into your scene. If you want the wood logs base, go to props library, and choose one of the options (round/square). The look/visuals of fire, smoke and sparks on the main character can be changed via custom dials in the Pose room. For the color dials you might want to edit in the material room, but this is up to you, the dials are dynamically connected to the shader nodes. Fire, smoke and sparks are separate actors, so you can hide it individually if you need. When choosing which geometry to display for fire/smoke/sparks on the main character, use the POSE LIBRARY. With the main character on frame 0 and selected, choose one of the geo indexes (Geo_00 - Geo_13) to double click to apply it. There are 2 special poses provided for your convenience, if you want to render in sequence or experiment with animation/loop, these are the "as_sequence" and "as_sequence_full_fire_only" (same as the first but without the 3 initial geos). Find below a description of the custom dials, the defaults work fine in most cases, only change it if you need or want to experiment. As a general good practice avoid extreme values as it can lead to strange visual results. Custom dials description (actor smoke): - ClassCutoff (0-1000): only materials with suffix above this value will be displayed. Use this hide unwanted original data. - Density_Base_Value: density value shared by all classes (always added). - Density_Step_Value: incremental value. This is cumulative as the material class increases. - Absorption_Scatter_Mix: 0 means absorption volume only, 1 means scatter volume only, 0.5 is 50%/50% mix. - Absorption_ColorR,G,B: color to be used for the absorption volume. - Scatter_ColorR,G,B: color to be used for the absorption volume. - Scatter_Anisotropy: anisotropy for the scatter volume. - AnimateGeom: no need this if you use the provided poses. This changes what geometry is displayed for this actor. Be careful if changing manually, as this is not in sync with the others (remember to change for all smoke/fire/sparks). Custom dials description (actor fire/sparks): - ClassCutoff: already explained. - TemperatureK_Base_Value: temperature value shared by all classes (always added). - TemperatureK_Step_Value: temperature cumulative increment for subsequent classes. - EmissionStrength_Base_Value: emission strength value shared by all classes (always added). - EmissionStrength_Step_Value: emission strength cumulative increment for subsequent classes. - AnimateGeom: already explained.
