Vargas (EVargas) - Jun/2023 Requirements: Daz Studio 4 with Iray Ownership statement: All of the content in this package was created by EVargas using the following resources: - 3DCoat PBR Library. Note: the skull/swords white overlay on the sailcloth is an original design, do not copy/share or produce derivatives without permission! ---------------------------------------------------- INSTALLATION: Extract the zip folder contents over your content library of choice. DESCRIPTION: A ghost ship surrounded by 200 square meters of ocean waves. The animation will loop, similar to the Poser version of this product. ITEMS INCLUDED: - Ocean surface tile (can be duplicated to cover large areas), including animated morph sliders (keyframes at 10 intervals, interpolated between); - Ocean floor as a simple flat cube placed below; - Default material preset for ocean surface (in case you need it after changes); - Ghost ship as child of an animated invisible prop (the ship alone would be static). The sailcloth as child of the ship so it follows it (includes animated morph sliders for all frames); - PBR image textures (color, normal, roughness) for ship and sailcloth, 4K resolution; - UV map templates included, the sailcloth is easily customizable with a user friendly UV layout! HOW TO USE: Props and material preset can be found on their respective folders. Steps: 1. Set your timeline to 240 frames / 30 FPS; 2. Load prop "Ocean Floor"; 3. Load prop "Ocean Surface"; 4. Load prop "Ghost Ship". 5. Play. General notes: When doing animation don't forget to first set your timeline to 240 frames / 30FPS. Animation can be extended in time by copying/pasting the keyframes. The ocean surface is not affected/deformed by the ship, so it can be used with other props. Spatial tiling: I made the promo image that shows tiling by translating the tile close to each other with a value of "18604.50" (+ or - depending on each direction you need). This must be due to some Daz unit conversion when importing the Poser format, as in Daz Studio 1 unit = 1 cm. Be careful when duplicating, it can become resource intensive very fast. Also when doing so, duplicate only the "ocean surface", not the "ocean floor", as the floor can be extended by simply increasing its scale in X/Z. RENDERING: Ready for Nvidia Iray. The ocean surface uses a standard Iray Daz Uber Water shader preset. Please note that results may vary between different softwares and render engines due to each one's unique characteristics. Please also note that the tests were made using simple scene setups with basic lighting, which may not always fit your case, so if you find unexpected issues please ask for our support, either on the forums or via sitemail.
