Parting Seas, Copyright PixelDust1 January 12, 2024 Vendor name: PixelDust1 Product description: Be that due to magic, faith, or other prowess, the parting of a body of water can be a sight to behold. The sequence of walls of water parting was created using an advanced 3D computer fluid simulation. The Parting Seas product contains five different props of a parting, or collapsing, wall of water and two supplementary 3D scanned props of a grouping of rocks and a separate seafloor. Thus, a complete scene can be created using only the props in this product, by combining the different water props and duplicating the seafloor prop with a sprinkle of rocks here and there. In addition to a mesh showing the body of water, spherical particles were used to represent foam, bubbles and spray evolving as the walls of water are parting or collapsing adding that extra degree or realism. Usage tips/limitations: The Parting Seas prop models are envisioned to represent a 3D volume material, thus there are no texture maps supplied other than for the included rocks and seafloor. By default, DAZ Studio’s water Iray shaders were applied to the water models. Feel free to change the water’s Transmitted Color surface parameter to go from the dark grey blues of a stormy sea to the light crystal blues of tropical waters.
