--------------------------------------------------- Product Name: DB-70 Experimental Airliner Copyright 2024 Michael Crisafulli Contact Michael_C via Renderosity Site Mail -------------------------------------- Product Description Although only one was built, the Dyle et Bacalan DB-70 had several configurations over its test history. The initial construction had an open cockpit and small oval windows. The fuselage was then modified with larger rectangular windows and the cockpit was soon enclosed. The original conception was for a civilian airliner with 1st and 2nd class passenger cabins on each side and a center saloon with chairs and tables. There was a lavatory and a small kitchen at the back of the saloon. There was a rather impractical (low overhead) stairway entrance aft of the saloon, between two baggage compartments. Better entries were on each side under the wing leading edge. For night flights the side passenger cabins would be refurnished with Pullman-type berths. The crew section for two pilots and a mechanic or navigator was separate from the passenger area and had its own entry doors. There are photos of the prototype outfitted as a military transport with a different paint scheme and additional, still impractical ramps beneath the twin fuselages. There is also a description of how the BD-70 could be outfitted as a flying ambulance. The DB-70 3D model is a fully-rigged Poser figure, sized for Poser people. Although designed for Poser, it is compatible with DAZ Studio (see notes below). Refer to the file list below for file locations. Components are found in the "Michael_C/DB-70" folder within each of the Poser sub-libraries (Figure, Pose, etc.). Note that although most of the Poser files may be moved to other locations, the geometries and textures MUST be in the listed locations. -------------------------------------- Usage Tips: The DB-70 figure uses ERC controls at the Body level. For easy access to the controls the figure's Body loads selected by default. PARAMETER DIALS - The parameter dial groups load collapsed for convenience. Open a group or subgroup to use its dials. Transform These standard dials control rotation and position of the DB-70 aircraft figure. Resize - This dial changes the size of the entire figure. Rotation controls use aircraft terms: Pitch – Nose up and down Roll – Wings up and down Yaw – Nose left and right (Because of the way Poser handles rotation these controls may sway round for large angles.) Control Bank – Moves the Aileron assemblies coordinated with the pilot's wheel Elevators – Moves the Elevator assemblies coordinated with the pilot's wheel mount Rudder – Moves the Rudder assemblies coordinated with the pilot's pedals Spin the propellers Landed Position – Rotates the aircraft tail down Adjust Center Fuselage Trailing Edge – The trailing edge of the fuselage center was moveable External Doors Open the left and right passenger and crew doors Internal Doors Open the kitchen and lavatory doors Baggage Doors Open the baggage compartment doors Windows Open the left and right cockpit windows Stair Raise and stow the stairway cover Lower the stairs Military Transport The military transport version had additional ramps in each of the twin fuselages PROPS o Propeller Blur – The propellers should be hidden first Day Flights These props sets are pre-loaded in the Passenger figure o Left and right passenger compartment seats and partitions o Saloon furnishings Night Flights These prop sets should be loaded into the base figure. Note that adjustments may be necessary depending on your document window setup. Dolly CAMs Numerous interior and exterior view Dolly cameras. LIGHTS Simple Daylight and Moonlight sets with included IBLs The following light sets, parented to the airframe) should be ADDed to the scene. Otherwise they will replace any other lights. Cabin interior lights Landing lights ------------------------------ -- DAZ Studio Compatibility -- Tested in DAZ Studio 4.22 to the extent that parameter controls and various figure poses work as intended. I've made no attempt to convert or optimize materials. The DB-70 figure loads and operates in DAZ Studio. DAZ Studio uses different camera designations from Poser so the included camera presets don't all work. Those that work may require adjustment. --------------------------------------------------- List of files contained within this product's zip files. :Documentation:Michael_C Ilya_Muromets_ReadMe.txt Ilya_Muromets_Promo.pdf Marketplace_Standard_License.txt :Runtime:Geometries:MCC:DB-70 CenBenchUVP.obj Chair1UVP.obj Chair2UVP.obj CompassUVP.obj DB-70UV2-P.obj GaugePanelUVP.obj KitchenUVp.obj LavatoryCUVP.obj LongBenchUVP.obj LowerBunkP.obj MCC_LadderUV-P.obj MedBenchUVP.obj PartitionUVP.obj PropBlurUVP.obj ShortBenchUVP.obj SinkUVP.obj Table4UV-P.obj ToiletUVP.obj UpperBunkP.obj :Runtime:libraries:Camera:Michael_C:DB-70 CAM Set.cm2 CAM Set.png :Runtime:libraries:Camera:Michael_C:DB-70:Exterior Canopy.cm2 Canopy.png Cockpit 1.cm2 Cockpit 1.png Cockpit 2.cm2 Cockpit 2.png Doors.cm2 Doors.png :Runtime:libraries:Camera:Michael_C:DB-70:Interior Cockpit 1.cm2 Cockpit 1.png Kitchen 1.cm2 Kitchen 1.png Lavatory 1.cm2 Lavatory 1.png Lavatory 2.cm2 Lavatory 2.png Lavatory 3.cm2 Lavatory 3.png Left Passenger 1.cm2 Left Passenger 1.png Left Passenger 2.cm2 Left Passenger 2.png Left Passenger 3.cm2 Left Passenger 3.png Navigator 1.cm2 Navigator 1.png Navigator 2.cm2 Navigator 2.png PAssage 2.png Passage 1.cm2 Passage 1.png Passage 2.cm2 Passage 3.cm2 Passage 3.png Promenade 1.cm2 Promenade 1.png Saloon 1.cm2 Saloon 1.png Saloon 2.cm2 Saloon 2.png Saloon 3.cm2 Saloon 3.png :Runtime:libraries:Character:Michael_C:DB-70 DB-70 Passenger.cr2 DB-70 Passenger.png :Runtime:libraries:Character:Michael_C:DB-70:Basic DB-70 (base).cr2 DB-70 (base).png :Runtime:libraries:Character:Michael_C:DB-70:More Tall Ladder.cr2 Tall Ladder.png :Runtime:libraries:Light:Michael_C:DB-70 Daylight.lt2 Daylight.png Moonlight.lt2 Moonlight.png :Runtime:libraries:Light:Michael_C:DB-70:Special Lights !
