~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ D9S Winston for L'Homme ©2024 Lizzie Prusaczyk & Dream 9 Studios All Rights Reserved. www.dream9.art June 24, 2024 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Product Description: ==================== A character for L'Homme in the style of a Rock Legend. Requirements: ==================== L'Homme Lite or Pro Poser 12 or later Installation: ==================== Using a zip file utility, unzip the product's zip files to the Poser Runtime folder of your choice. Make sure that your zip extraction program is set to "maintain folder paths". If you do not have a zip file utility, you can download 7zip which is freeware from www.7-zip.org Usage Instructions: ==================== 1. Start by loading the L'Homme Base from the Figures Library. 2. Go to the Poses Library and find the folder "L'Homme-->Characters-->Dream 9 Studios-->Winston" to find the poses to load the face and body morphs. Click the two poses with "INJ" to inject the morphs to the L'Homme base. If you wish to delete the morphs from the base, use the "REM" poses. There is also an "INJ" pose to inject morphs into L'Homme's separate Genitals figure so that they perfectly fit Winston's body. 3. Next, go to the Materials Library and find the folder "L'Homme-->Characters-->Dream 9 Studios-->Winston" to find all of his material settings and texture option presets. His presets will work in both Firefly AND Superfly. No longer a need for two sets of presets! 4. First load the "Complete Body" preset to load all of Winston's default textures and materials for his entire body. You can now customize Winston by loading any of the other material options in the subfolders. 5. When you are ready to render in Poser, for Superfly, the higher your Pixel Samples, the less noise you will get in your render but this will also increase render time. Make sure you have at least a value of 4 to 6 in your Min Transparent Bounces so that the eyelashes render well. For Firefly, make sure that "Subsurface Scattering" and "use displacement maps" are enabled in your Render Settings. Also be sure that "Gamma Correction" is set to "2.20". Setting the "Min Shading Rate" to a low value such as "0.15" will greatly increase the quality of all the materials when rendered though it will also increase render time. 6. When using clothing that is dynamic cloth along with the custom body morph, here is the way I do it. In Frame 1, have the default L'Homme body without morphs. Move to Frame 6 and apply the body morph. Then move to Frame 15 and pose L'Homme as you wish. This is assuming there are a minimum of 30 frames (Poser's default number). This should allow the clothing to properly morph from the default body shape to the custom body shape. 7. When using clothing that is conforming... that's a bit trickier. You will have to use whatever morphs are included with the clothing to fit it as best you can to the morphed body. For a tight fit, use the Poser Morphing Tool (it's under Editing Tools and looks like a pointing hand). The two tools you will need in the Morphing Tool popup menu are "Tighten Fit" and "Loosen Fit". Remember to select L'Homme as the "Goal" and to create a new morph (you can name it "fixes" or something like that). Then brush over the clothing to either tighten or loosen where needed. Thank you for purchasing Winston and I wish you many great renders and artworks! If you have any questions, please contact me via Renderosity Site Mail! Thank you!
