Just Standing in Water 2, Copyright PixelDust1 July 8, 2024 Vendor name: PixelDust1 Product description: Even when standing still in a body of water there is an ongoing interaction between the water and your body along with the memories of your past movements. Yes, those ever-expanding rings and ripples and occasional bubbles that emanate from around your legs as you are standing there. The Just Standing in Water 2 product brings this small nuance of realism to your renders with ten different models in the set. For each model, the body of water has small but different waves so it is just a matter of choice to pick the right one for your scene. The models contain no texture or other ‘tricks’ to represent the water, just plain geometry and a lot of it. The geometry pushes DAZ Studio to its limits because each bubble particle is modelled as a sphere. If you need a scene with a larger body of water, please check out my other products. You can combine those with the props in this set to create as large of a body of water as you wish. The models contain only a flat body of water about 1 to 1.5 of average human height. But to increase its versatility to accommodate ‘legs’ of various sizes and shapes, it is possible to scale the prop models along each of their axes to fit the approximate shape of the human body you chose to insert into your scene. Usage tips/limitations: The Just Standing in Water 2 prop models are envisioned to represent a 3D volume liquid material, thus there are no texture maps supplied. By default, DAZ Studio’s water Iray shaders were applied to the models. Feel free to change the water’s Transmitted Color surface parameter to go from the dark grey blues of a stormy sea to the light crystal blues of tropical waters.
