Notes: A lycopsid plant that appeared during the late Carboniferous and went extinct during the Triassic period. There are no direct modern day relatives, but the plant is closely related to quillworts. It grew to around 2 metres tall and had a straight, non-branching stem and a thickened, tuberous base. It is believed to have been mostly semi-aquatic, and found in ponds and slowly moving streams where it grew in dense thickets under larger plants. The upper part consisted of a fertile fruiting zone, below which narrow leaves grew directly from the stem. Woody fibres were present, mainly in the lower part of the plant. Fossils have been found throughout the northern hemisphere. There are 18 models in this set: 5x Standard. Fully mature and in good health. Useable in most scenes. 5x Health. Thriving, distressed, unhealthy, dying, dead. 5x Maturity. Ancient, young, growing, immature, seedling. 3x Size. Single plant, smaller patch, larger patch. The models will appear as Props. Also present are all the material presets used in all models. This will allow you to load a different material overwriting the default. For example, you may load a "Dread Tree" model, select one of the dead foliage materials in the material editor and overwrite it with and autumn material. Please note that this is an example and this product may not include a "Dead Tree" model or "Autumn" material; the principle is the same though for any model or material.
