Today it is grown in extensive orchards in Africa and Asia, as well as an ornamental species in many parts of the world. In it's natural range, Date Palms can be found in most places with well-drained sandy soil. It is probably native to northern Africa, but exact origin is difficult to determine due to extensive cultivation. There are 16 models in this set: 5x Standard. Green, fully mature and in good health. Useable in most scenes. 5x Health. Thriving, distress, unhealthy, dying, and dead. 6x Maturity. Ancient, young, growing, immature, forming, and sapling.
