Notes: Extinct tree-sized, tree-like plant. Though superficially it resembled a tree, this plant was most closely related to modern quillworts, meaning it wasn't a true tree. As it grew its central stem eventually split into multiple branches (usually exactly two), and then each branch further split as the plant continued to mature; further dichotomical branching occurred until the plant reached full maturity. At the ends of its branches were oval-shaped cones. As the plant grew it shed its lower leaves which resulted in the scar-pattern found on its stem and branches giving it its name of 'scale tree'. Fossils have been found extensively throughout the world suggesting it had a global reach. There are 16 models in this set: 5x Standard. Green, fully mature and in good health. Useable in most scenes. 5x Health. Thriving, distress, unhealthy, dying, and dead. 6x Maturity. Ancient, young, growing, immature, forming, and sapling. The models will appear as Props. Also present are all the material presets used in all models. This will allow you to load a different material overwriting the default. For example, you may load a "Dread Tree" model, select one of the dead foliage materials in the material editor and overwrite it with and autumn material. Please note that this is an example and this product may not include a "Dead Tree" model or "Autumn" material; the principle is the same though for any model or material.
