But in romantic imagination, it is so much more. What a life! You ate delicious food, wore silken clothing, lived in beautiful surroundings and made passionate love to a handsome Sultan at night. A bath in the harem was not just lathering up and then rinsing off. A bath was akin to a day at a spa. The women were soaked, depilitated, massaged, steamed and hennaed until they glowed. For women who had lots of time and not a lot to do, a long period of being pampered in the bath was a relaxing way to pass the day. The harem of the Sultan was abolished after the Ottoman empire fell, but it still lives on as a romantic fantasy. Now you can recreate the romantic fantasy of the Harem Bath with this new Poser set by Richabri :) The Harem Bath is an elegant reproduction an ancient harem bath room. The Harem Bath replicates this ancient structure on a grand scale. Although the prop simulates a large virtual space the entire loaded set is relatively small in comparison. The Harem Bath set features the exquisite architectural style of the period with high resolution textures that look great from a distance or from extreme close up renders. The prop includes everything you need to set up a beautiful ancient or fantasy style harem bath scene including: * The elegant Harem Bath model itself. * A separate marble fountain prop, * A gold hanging lantern fixture. * A large black marbled vase. * A small vase with handle. * A potted plant model. * A golden waterpipe model. Everything comes as Poser Ready props that can be loaded from the sidebar menu or for even easier use - just load the included PZ3 file which has all of the props loaded with a default lighting and camera scheme. The Harem Bath also includes 10 camera presets & 3 light presets for easy scene creation. All of the prop's elements are completely modular and can be used separately or with other sets for maximum use and enjoyment. ============================================================================= Notes: No BUM files were provided to keep the archive file size down. You may wish to load the corresponding textures in as bump maps to enhance your renders. The shadow casting ability of the !Harem Bath prop is turned off by default to make it easier to light any chosen camera view. You can turn it back on by selecting the !Harem Bath prop and going to Object - Properties from the Poser menu and clicking the Cast Shadows checkbox. The textures were chosen to provide the best look to the scene. You can easily change the look of the elements by changing the appropriate textures/colors in Material Dialog Box in Poser. One tip is to use an image browser and browse the folder where they textures are stored. You can then easily determine which textures are associated with the corresponding scene elements. The lighting presets were provided to give a general illumination of this set. They may be adequate for most scenes but I highly recommend adjusting these light presets for any scenes you may create if you choose to use them. =============================================================================== You will need Poser 4/5 or later with the latest patches or Pro Pack to use these props. =============================================================================== To install: Unzip the archive (HaremBath.zip) to the root folder wherever you installed Poser: (i.e., C:\Program Files\Metacreations\Poser 4).
