Using the Executive Helicopter: 1) Start Lightwave. 2) Add the Executive Helicopter to your scene. All moving parts are on a separate layer. Simply select that layer and rotate. Works great for animation. To extend the wing guns: 1) Select the rightwing (or leftwing). 2) Move along the x-axis (around 1m or so). 3) Select the rightgun (or leftgun). 4) Stretch along the z-axis (around 2.2m or so). The interior of the Executive Helicopter is on a separate layer, for two reasons: 1) You can remove it from the scene if it's not needed. (Be sure to darken the windows on the Base or you will be able to see the missing interior.) 2) You can replace it with additional interiors. The "army" texture does not include a "blades" texture map- it was designed to use a solid color. The "_template.gif" files are not used on the model and are included if you want to make your own textures. __________________________________________________ POSER DIRECTIONS: Extract the files into the specified folders: Put the obj file into Runtime\Geometries\RPublishing Put the cr2/ rsr/ png (figure files) into Runtime\Libraries\Figures\RPublishing Put the pz2/ rsr/ png (MAT poses) into Runtime\Libraries\Poses\RPublishing Put the jpg files (textures) into Runtime\Textures\RPublishing --The "ExecHeliXXX_template.gif" files are not used on the model, but are included in case you want to build your own textures. Note: Poser 4 users do not need to extract the png files and Poser 5 & up users do not need to extract the rsr files. Using the figure: 1) Start Poser. 2) Go to the Figures > RPublishing Library 3) Add the Executive Helicopter to your scene. Notes: 1) It will seem "big" and may fill the scene. This is normal- it is scaled so Poser figures can sit in the cockpit. 2) Do not "drop to ground"- the figure's parts may do weird things. All of the exterior moving parts have corresponding dials on the ExecHeliBody. To move any of the parts, simply turn the dial... you can probably figure out which dial causes which part to move. You can also hide any part by going to the Heirarchy Editor and clicking on the "eye" icon. The interior of the Executive Helicopter is a separate figure, for two reasons: 1) You can form an exterior scene if interior is not needed. (Be sure to darken the windows on the Base or you will be able to see the missing interior.) 2) You can replace it with additional interiors. To remove the current interior, simply select it and press the delete key. _________________________________________________________________________ File Listing for Executive Helicopter \Documentation ExecHeli_readme.txt License0409.txt ExecHeliBody.mpi: MAT Pose Creator "definition" file ExecHeliBase_template.gif: texture template ExecHeliInterior.mpi: MAT Pose Creator "definition" file Runtime\Geometries\RPublishing ExecHeliBase.obj ExecHeliInterior.obj Runtime\libraries\character\RPublishing ExecHeli.cr2 ExecHeli.png ExecHeli.rsr Runtime\libraries\pose\RPublishing ExecHeliArmy.png ExecHeliArmy.pz2 ExecHeliArmy.rsr ExecHeliFreedomAir.png ExecHeliFreedomAir.pz2 ExecHeliFreedomAir.rsr ExecHeliMedical.png ExecHeliMedical.pz2 ExecHeliMedical.rsr Runtime\Textures\RPublishing Silver.jpg Runtime\Textures\RPublishing\ExecHeli ExecHeliArmy.jpg ExecHelichair.jpg ExecHelicontrols.jpg ExecHeliFreedomAir.jpg ExecHeliFreedomAirBlades.jpg ExecHeliinstrumentfront.jpg ExecHeliinstrumentupper.jpg ExecHeliMedical.jpg ExecHeliMedicalBlades.jpg ExecHeliwall.jpg Runtime\WebLinks\Other Web Links Renderosity.pzs
