This zip file contains ONE (1) vehicle which can be converted into 3 modes using the included pose files: jet fighter mode, jet fighter/ robot mode, and robot mode. Also included is the update which allows you to switch bewteen 3 head shapes. Directions: Extract the files into the specified folders: Put the obj file into Runtime\Geometries\JHoagland\ Put the cr2/ rsr/ png (figure files) into Runtime\Libraries\Character\JHoagland Put the pz2/ rsr/ png (pose files) into Runtime\Libraries\Pose\Dragonfly Put the pp2/ rsr/ png (prop files) into Runtime\Libraries\Props\JHoagland Put the jpg files (textures) into Runtime\Textures\JHoagland\Dragonfly --The gif files are the textures templates and are not used on the models. They are included in case you want to build your own textures. The mpi file is the "figure definition file" for use with my MAT Pose Creator. Open the program, go to File > Import, select this file, and you can easily create your own MAT poses. Notes: 1) Poser 4 users do not need to extract the png files and Poser Pro Pack and Poser 5 users do not need to extract the rsr files. 2) If there is no template for a material (such as "Black"), then that material uses a solid color. Using the figure: 1) Start Poser. 2) Go to the Figures > JHoagland Library 3) Add the Dragonfly to your scene. Notes: 1) It will seem "big" and may fill the scene. This is normal- it is scaled so Poser figures can sit in the cockpit. 2) Do not "drop to ground"- the figure's parts may do weird things. 3) To change the shape of the head: --Apply the "RobotMode" pose (since you can't see the head in fighter or jetbot mode). --Select the Head. --Adjust the "HeadStyle" dial- the values 0, 1, and 2 represent the 3 head shapes. (Don't worry- you can't over- or under-extend the dial.) 4) Three gun props are included: -"Dragonfly Gun P0" is not parented to any part. -"Dragonfly Gun P1" is parented to the hip, for use in jet fighter mode. -"Dragonfly Gun P2" is parented to the right hand, for use in jetbot and robot modes. All of the exterior moving parts have corresponding dials on the Body. To move any of the parts, simply turn the dial. Some dials hide parts that are not needed for the current mode. For example, the "ExtendHands" dial hides the hands while in jet fighter mode, but extends the hands for jetbot and robot modes. Pose files are included to quickly change modes: jet fighter, "jetbot", robot, and "stored in a hangar". Once the Dragonfly is in each mode, you can then select a body part and move or pose it. Additional Notes: 1) If you have a Poser person sitting in the cockpit, be sure to parent it to the Dragonfly's Chest before changing modes. Otherwise, the Dragonfly will move, but the Poser person won't! 2) Like other Poser figures, the Dragonfly uses full body morphs to control its body parts. If you add two of these figures to the scene, you may get "cross-talk" (where one figure affects the other). 3) You can easily animate the changing-mode process by creating a keyframe in jet fighter mode, then creating a new keyframe in robot mode. Please keep in mind that some parts may slightly pass through each other (called "clipping") during the animation. This is normal and shouldn't have a significant effect on your animation. 4) Be sure to pick up all the freebies, like extra texture sets! (Note: you DO NOT need to download the "3 head" free item- that freebie has been incorporated into this version of the model.)
