Monorail Station for Poser 4 and above

This zip file contains: ONE (1) Monorail Station model (figure), ONE (1) Trash Can model (figure), ONE (1) Bench model (prop), ONE (1) Sign model (prop), ONE (1) "Monorail Up" pose, textures for the models, and ONE (1) scene file.

Note: this product is meant for use with the Monorail model, available for sale separately. However, the Monorail is NOT required to use this product.

Directions:
Extract the files into the specified folders:
Put the pz3 (scene file) into any folder of your choice.
Put the obj files into Runtime\Geometries\VP
Put the cm2/ rsr/ png (camera files) into Runtime\Libraries\camera\VP-MonorailStation
Put the cr2/ rsr/ png (figure files) into Runtime\Libraries\Character\vp
Put the pp2/ rsr/ png (prop files) into Runtime\Libraries\Props\VP-MonorailStation
Put the pz2/ rsr/ png (pose files) into Runtime\Libraries\Pose\VP
Put the jpg files (textures) and gif files (templates) into Runtime\Textures\VP\monorailstation
--The gif files are the texture templates and are not used on the models. They are included in case you want to build your own textures.

The mpi files are "figure definition files" for use with my MAT Pose Creator (available at the Marketplace). Open the program, go to File > Import, select this file, and you can easily create your own MAT poses.

Notes:
1) Poser 4 users do not need to extract the png files and Poser Pro Pack/ Poser 5/ Poser 6 users do not need to extract the rsr files.
2) If there is no template for a material (such as "black"), then that material either uses a solid color or is too complex to be mapped.
3) All of the "sign" textures use "maximized" mapping. This means that they will take any image... though be sure to check the height-to-width ratio and be careful of stretching.

Using the Monorail Station:
It is recommended that you use the scene file rather than building the scene yourself. This file contains the Monorail Station, signs, trash cans, and benches in their proper places as well as camera and light settings for you to get the most out of your render.
To use:
1) Start Poser.
2) Go to File > Open.
3) Find the "MonorailStation.pz3" file and click Open.
You may get a message saying "The requested window size is too big." This is fine: click OK and Poser will resize the window automatically.

If you would like to use the pieces separately (or add more signs, benches, or trash cans), they will be installed in the following folders:
Monorail Station and Trash Can (figures): Figures > VP
Bench and Sign (props): Props > VP-MonorailStation

Notes:
1) The Monorail Station will seem very big and will fill the scene. This is normal- it is scaled so Poser figures can walk around the various levels... and is scaled to fit the Monorail within the station.
2) You do not need to "Drop to Ground"- the Monorail Station is already on the ground.
3) The Monorail Station includes a "Ground" material which can be colored (or textured) to suit your taste. You do not need to use Poser's Ground Plane.
4) Camera files have been included to help you explore the Monorail Station. These will be installed in the Camera > VP-MonorailStation Library. Please note that some of the camera angles may not be the best (they may be too far or too close)- these are meant to help get you started. Feel free to adjust the camera to suit your taste.
5) It is recommended that you DO NOT rotate or move the Monorail Station- the other pieces are not parented to the station and they will not move with it. Instead, move the camera around the Monorail Station. The scene file contains a "global" light set so you don't have to worry about seeing weird lighting when moving the camera.

Optional:
When you add the Monorail (train) to the scene, it will be loaded directly beneath the Monorail Station's track. This is normal: simply use the included "MonorailUp" pose to move the Monorail into the correct position.
(Note: this pose affects the BODY part, so it can be applied to other figures to move them up as well. Though be sure to check the figure- the value applied to the Monorail may not be same for other figures.)
