This product was originally created by and acquired through VanishingPoint. ---------------------------------- DESCRIPTION OF CLAW FIGHER 2 MODEL ---------------------------------- Introducing the next advancement in robotics: the Claw Attack Fighter, version 2. After conducting numerous experiments to refine the original Claw Fighter, the Confederacy engineers began work to remove the human factor. That's right- this version of the Claw Fighter uses a robotic brain as its pilot! The engineers didn't stop with the removal of the pilot, though- this fighter craft has both increased engines and firepower. Four AMJ-9500 vectored-thrust engines push this fighter beyond the speeds of the original Claw Fighter. Although the wing-mounted cannons may look similar to the original, rest assured that they pack much more firepower... but without additional power requirements! In fact, the no-pilot-needed factor has been the most attractive selling point for many organizations. Police units, desert combat forces, and even army or marine squadrons now rely on the Claw Fighter as an integral part of their fleet. ________________________________________________________________ The Poser zip file contains the OBJ files along with THREE (3) Claw Fighter 2 props (one prop per texture set), THREE (3) sets of textures, seam guides, and texture templates. Directions: Extract the files into the specified folders: Put the obj files into Runtime\Geometries\VP Put the pp2/ rsr/ png (prop files) into Runtime\Libraries\Props\VP Put the jpg files (textures) and gif files (templates) into Runtime\Textures\VP\clawfighter2 --The gif files are the texture templates and the bmp files are seam guides. These are not used on the models, but are included in case you want to build your own textures. Notes: 1) Poser 4 users do not need to extract the png files and Poser Pro Pack/ Poser 5/ Poser 6 users do not need to extract the rsr files. Using the figure: 1) Start Poser. 2) Go to the Props > VP Library. 3) Add the Claw Fighter 2 to your scene. Notes: 1) The Claw Fighter 2 will seem big and may fill the scene. This is normal- it is scaled to the same size as the original Claw Fighter... and to the size of Poser people. 2) Since this model is a prop, no MAT poses are included. This is because Poser can not apply MAT poses to non-parented props. Start Vue Infinite. 2. Click File -> Import Object 3. Select either ClawFighter_2 and click open. --- To change the default "army" textures to either "Police" or "Desert", open the "Clawfighter_2" group. Now open the subgroup named "Hull" change the material to "claw2-police-hull.jpg" or "claw2-desert-hull.jpg". To change the textures: The textures are named as follows: "claw2-(texture scheme)-(surface material).jpg" To change the textures to the "Army" texture scheme (for example): 1) Open the Surface Editor. 2) Select the "horizwings" material and change the texture to "claw2-army-horizwings.jpg" 3) Repeat for the "hull" and "vertwings" materials. Note: the gif and bmp files are not used on the model, but are provided in case you want to make your own texture maps.
