************************************************************ * * * FALLOUTIC SERIES: * * THE ENFORCER HELMET * * * ************************************************************ - Created by Dominik Lenardo ( coflek@astro-doo.hr ) - --------------------- DESCRIPTION -------------------------- The Enforcer helmet is great addition for your Poser (or other) characters. Model is built from 8 different parts: helmet, spikes, symbol, rear shield, side shields, front shield, plexiglass mask and gasmask. You can combine any of this parts to gain over 20 different variations. All textures, including bump maps and specular are in high resolutions allowing you to create stunning close-up renders. Model is saved in two formats: PZ3 for Poser 5 & 6 (not tes- ted in ProPack) and in 3ds format for programs which support 3ds MAX files. -------------------- INSTALLATION -------------------------- POSER 5 & 6 USERS: unpack into Your Poser directory; in root You'll get enforcer.pz3 main model. In Runtime: textures: a new directory is created named "Enforcer helmet" There are all textures for model. If for any reason Poser ask You for texture directory, just point to Runtime:Textures: Enforcer helmet. Poser 5 will inform You about newer version of model (enforcer.pz3 is saved in Poser 6) but don't worry, everything will work the same in both version 3DS format users: Import 3ds model. When asked for textures location, follow the path I described above, or just copy "Enforcer helmet" directory with textures in desired place. ------------------- MODEL HANDLING ------------------------- When you load PZ3 model into Poser (5 or 6) you'll get complete model with all parts. Helmet is base and all other parts; spikes, symbol, rear shield, side shiels, front shield, plexiglass mask and gasmask are connected as children. Simply delete unwanted part (except helmet) or make it invisible in properties menu. Model is created to fit 'standard' human head. However, maybe you'll need to adjust size by resizing helmet object. After that, just choose head of your character as parent for the helmet. Be advised that you can't combine gasmask with plexiglass mask or front shield; gasmask is bigger. For other programs capable of importing 3ds format, same procedure; remove unwanted parts, pose, render. Although all parameters (textures, bumps, speculars) are adjusted for use, You can manipulate with those parameters to achieve results You want.
