This is a set of 48 semi-precious gemstone materials, 8 simple metal materials and one invisible material for Poser (created and tested in Poser 7 only).  Some textures are provided in two versions scaled for large and small objects, for a total of 83 materials.

Your license gives you the right to use these materials to create your own personal or commercial projects, with the following restrictions:  1) you may not re-sell or redistribute these materials as is or in collections, 2) you may not use them to create material textures or images for resale or free distribution, 3) this license is not transferrable and covers reasonable use by one (1) single user, and 4) these materials may not be tweaked and used to create materials or images in direct marketing or free distributive competition with the original material source.

Installation Instructions:

Unzip file directly into your Poser folder, leaving the "Use Folder Names" option checked. Files will distribute to proper location.

Usage Tips or Limitations:

Apply from Materials menu in Material room. 

Some materials look better at different sizes depending upon the size of the object they are applied to. These materials are provided in two sizes, one plainly named, one labeled with an S; the S is for small objects such as jewelry props while the regular material is suitable for larger items such as figures. Where no small-sized material is provided, material is universal and will work for any size item.

Also included is one Invisible material to turn off internal features in transparent materials, such as inner mouth parts in figures.

Raytracing should be turned on for these materials to work as originally intended.

In banded materials such as Malachite, Blue Lace Agate and Rhodochrosite, band configuration can be tweaked using the Math Function>Bias node's second value. Feel free to play around with settings, you can always restore it from the original mat, and who knows what interesting things you may come up with!
