Youko is a realistic asian character-set for Daz's Victoria 4. She has her own, advanced material-system that adds a healthy, youthful shimmer and ambient occlusion to skin and eyes, she comes with many makeup-options, a custom head- and bodymorph and of course with her own Tattoo, handpainted by Digital-Lion. All files will be placed as shown below from the Filelist. Be sure to check the "Use folder names" option when unzipping and point Winzip to your Poser directory. After unzipping you will find Youko in your pose-library in a folder called "SF Youko". The material-poses can be moved to another folder in the corresponding library but the textures and the morph deltas must stay as is, otherwise the material-poses will not work. Please unzip both zip files first before starting the first scene with Youko - otherwise you will recieve several error messages because of missing textures. -------------------------------------- Usage Tips or Limitations: This package can only be used in Poser 6 or higher with Victoria 4, Poser 5 works with this set as well but has some limitations. Be sure you have the latest version of Poser. If you want to use the set in Poser 5 you may encounter different results from those showed in the promotional images as P5 doesn't support ambient occlusion. However,you will not get an error when using the Youko MATs in P5. Start a new scene and load your V4 character. You will find two seperate morphs for each, head and body. With the REM-Poses you can return to the default Victoria. The morphs are custom made and some additional finetuning was made with a handful of DAZ morphs. You can use the morphs as they are or combine them with any third-party morph you like and achieve new, unique looks by adjusting the strenght of the morphs. The body-texture for Youko takes care of the genital-morph that is slightly different from the classic V4-shape. If you want to use the textures with a different morph that makes use of the classic "GenitalCrease" morph that comes with V4 you'll find two alternative textures for the hip-region, one for the plain body and one for the tattoed one. You have the choice between a set of textures that include Ambient Occlusion (AO) and as set without AO. If you want to us a lightset that uses Ambient Occlusion you may want to prefer the set without AO to avoid artifacts in your render. If you use light without AO you may prefer the AO sets as they offer better shadows. Choose the AO or NonAO folder and click the "Base ! TexFull"-button - and you're done, Youko is ready to pose. You can change her look by choosing additional makeups, eyecolors, naillaquers and her Tattoo that comes in 2 variations, with body-hair and without. We recommend that you stay within one set, either with AO or without to stay with one "look" from tip to toe. The three "Base" material poses will set all materials of body, head and the complete figure to default. Beside the eyebrows that are already included in the face-textures we offer several settings for the transmapped eyebrows that come with V4. You'll find two buttons to turn them on and off and several color options that should match all natural hair-colors. The transmaps cover the brows that are on the head textures completely.They are ideal if you want to have colored brows on the fantasy-makeups as they all come with brows that are covered with makeup, like you may know it from Kabuki actors. So you can leave the fantasy makeups as is, with just the bump and a slight color from the brows shining through the white paint or use the trans-option. If you want to use the custom morphed body with clothes you may want to give dynamic clothing a try, use the "Morphing Clothes" tool by Dimension3D (available at Renderosity) or use the Wardrobe Wizard 2 by PhilC to dress the custom Youko in style.
